There was a nut job on here like you said. He went by several different names but the one I remember the most is "Brown Boy".

I was born and lived in western Pennsylvania for 67 years and moved to Florida in 2014 to be near my daughter who has lived there since 2001. It was in Bonita Springs on the southwest Gulf coast and I loved it because it was new to me. I soon learned how expensive it was to live there and I don't have a golden parachute like so many of the moneyed people do who live there full time or are snowbirds for a part of the year. The cost of housing/rent keeps going up year by year and for those who are younger and have to work full time, the wages have not kept up with the rest of the country.
I wound up moving to Minnesota in February of this year with my daughter. She was fed up with the poor wages in Florida got a much better job here. And she has great friends who moved back here from Florida for the same reason.
The bottom line is......I love it here even with the very cold winters. The cost of living is much lower than Florida and my pension and social security goes a lot further. I became a home owner again at the age of 72 and my monthly living expenses are hundreds of dollars lower than Florida.
Home is where the heart is.

I'm thankful that my daughter also got out, went to college, got a degree, and now has her dream job and is happy just like her old man.
I'm thankful (even though it took way too many years) that I have become tolerant of people who have a totally different perspective of how they view and want to live their lives.

My late father-in-law's family hailed from the Salem and East Palestine, Ohio area. My father-in-law used to tell me about the scandals back in the 1930's that took place in eastern Ohio with society higher-ups when they visited the area. They were all a bunch of scumbags and my father-in-law said so, yet he remained a JW but a very unassuming one.
I heard stories about the Judge's roving eye and his desire for women and his legendary boozing. Seems he did these thing no matter where he went and the "sheep" still loved him and thought he was special.

Elders given immunity for sins in the past???
by Kingdavid41 inappointment and deletion of elders and ministerial servants.
situations that require a review of an appointed brother's qualifications.
25. committed a disfellowshipping offense years in the past and the matter was never addressed: the body of elders may de- termine he can continue to serve if the following is true: the im- morality or other serious wrongdoing occurred more than a few years ago, and he is genuinely repentant, recognizing that he should have come forward immediately when he sinned.

The bottom line is that hardly any male wants to reach out for any position,
so now they will take anybody.

First On-Screen Crush?
by Simon inmany years ago, we lived in a world where the one tv in your house might be black and white, perhaps color if you were lucky, but either way the screen was small and the arial on your house would struggle to deliver a decent signal but often fail in a fuzzy mess.
most of the movies you saw were old, there was no home video or rental - you got a chance to see something and then it was gone.
planning your viewing was important to make sure you didn't miss something so you'd carefully scan the tv guide to pick out your favourites ... good job there were only 2 or 3 channels to look through.. but you could still see quality if you went to the movie theatre and there you got to see glorious film on a giant screen (which is only now being equalled quality wise).

When I was a kid in the 1950's there was a TV western called Annie Oakley staring Gail Davis. At the age of nine or ten, I fell madly in love with Gail Davis and even asked my parents if we could go and see her in the town of Diablo, New Mexico where it took place. Little did I know then that it was all fictitious and filmed on a Hollywood lot.

Other than the national monuments, the Smithsonian is a must but it is so huge that you might want to pinpoint the parts that might interest you like the air and space museum. It would help to Google it and have an itinerary to fit your time available.

Heidi Hall: Life after WTS Good read
by blondie inhttps://religionnews.com/2019/09/26/finding-a-faith-that-is-stronger-than-death-or-my-familys-rejection/.
in my search, i left behind conditional, behavior-based love and traded it for the unconditional grace shown by a true family, whose bonds have nothing to do with dna.. and i’m dying grateful for that.. (heidi hall, who died sept. 25, 2019, at age 49, was a veteran journalist whose award-winning career took her from the standard democrat in sikeston, missouri, and the southeast missourian to the tampa tribune and the nashville tennessean before landing her at vanderbilt university’s public affairs office.
the views expressed in this commentary do not necessarily reflect those of religion news service.

I was raised as a Catholic. Looking at Anthony Morris I can't help but think of all the fat Catholic priests who never lifted a finger in manual work. Morris is just another fat lazy turd living of the backs of others,
