Have you re-read the bible since leaving the Kingdom Hall?
by Eyebrow2 ini always wanted to re-read the bible after i left the org; to be able to read it without having to feel like i had to apply something, or to have to read it out of obedience, etc.... well, i have always liked the new world translation, i know it isn't perfect, but i think it is better than some.
but i have always wanted to get a different modern english translation, and read that.
well, i finally picked up a new international version at wal-mart the other day...under $6, what a bargain.. started last night, and finished genesis today, and am just starting into exodous.

im definitly waiting for it. a shame though, budget wise, its gt4 or half life 2.....so far hl2 is winning in my book, ill prob just wait for it to drop to 25 or 30 bucks and then pick a copy up.

Another Danger for JWs and the Internet
by frankiespeakin inone thing that carries a real serious threat to the wt is the fact that most jws in developed countries have email addresses.. you know how some send out general emails to all their freinds and when you get the email it has "all" the address on the top because the person sent that particular message to everyone all at once to save time.
think how dangereous that is to the wt, because when someone get to know the truth about the wt and becomes apostate they have all these email addresses that they can send information to to deprogram other jws.
this can really snowball in time.

Is it better to bottle up your feelings?

people always say you shouldn't bottle up your emotions, that it's not healthy.. but if you think it's wrong to feel a certain way...(ex.
jealous, anxious), isn't it better to swallow it into your stomach so no one gets hurt?

i find it alot easier to just go ahead and focus those feelings towards something creative. or even just productive.
theres a certain limit to what you should do though.
but i say yes it is better to bottle up feelings. sometimes you have to for the better of a relationship/friendship. whatever
