  is it true?

  can you be disfellowshiped for reading crisis of conscience?

  is that why some have read it in the library out of sight of other witnesses and elders themselves read it in secrecy?.

  I tend to agree that when you will be D/FED for READING A BOOK, then you should do some serious considering about what the ORG is trying to do.

  hello to everyone, my name is esther and i am from australia.. i was directed to this website from my ex husband who also was a jw.

  i guess in the truth we still are as we have not been df or disocciated ourselves.. i just wanted to say hi.

  this is a great website, i had been brought up in the truth and had only decided to leave about 2 years ago, when my marriage was failing,i'm not a person who lives great by other peoples rules, especially when i dont agree with half of them.

  i am curious...what did you all do with your jw books and paraphanalia?

  i carted mine around for years and kept them in boxes.

  i was like afraid to do anything with them, even though i was sure i didn't want them.

  i was watching an old eddie murphy hbo special a few weeks ago where he was talking about relationships.

  in his bit, he went off on how all men cheat on their wives and girlfriends.

  he was adamant that even the nicest of guys will take the opportunity to cheat if given the chance and that women need to understand that this is the way it is, 100% of the time.

  Don't insult us. Don't insult our belief's; or lack ther-of. This site isnt titled that way to "TRICK REAL JWS TO CHAT WITH US" Think for one second about what you said..."Go find a religion that makes you comfortable" You sir have just insulted half of the people here. Some of us find religion outside of the JWs, others, like myself, choose not to be part of any. Understand people before you insult them please.

  I think they are refering to "theory" in a PC way. In order not to be called on it, IF said facts are taken into question. Evolution is much more believable than creation.
