You know what...i've had it. Fuck muslims. I know it's not nice to say "Fuck Muslims" but seriously, FUCK MUSLIMS
I mean, what it comes down to is this: People can no longer say "it's the work of a few extremist"...For christ's sake someone says something like"the prophet Mohammed would approve of the pagaent" and before you know every muslim in Nigeria has an excuse to go around stabbing whoever. What the hell? Not just extremist either, c'mon....good muslims who think it's blasphemous are doing it too. It's the very nature of Islam to take such things to an extreme. Killing in the name of the prophet is totally justifiable apparently. I'm sorry, but the extreme nature of Islam breeds these kind of things. Ye
Of course Christians have their crazies, but c'mon...i can write "Jesus would have approved of the pageant" in the newspaper and i doublt i'd be stabbed for it. Our christian snipers are few and far between, and i can't think of anyone who really approves of it. Of course, I'm sure the muslims think this is just dandy.
Muslims need to recognize their ultra-literal interpretation of their faith greatly inhibits their ability for us to accept them into civilized society. And to believe that all muslims aren't nuts in general.

My poor JW mom and her dead friend
by dolphman ini just got a phone call from my wailing mom that her best friend, and someone i grew up with, has died.. i really disliked this woman.
her son told on me for saluting the flag in high school.
that's how my mom and her became friends.

I really disliked this woman. Her son told on me for saluting the flag in high school. That's how my mom and her became friends. So we were off to great start as you can see.
Anyway she died last night, and i can't help but feel sorry for all these Jehovahs' Witnesses who thought Armageddon was going to be here in like 1987 and yet there sitting rotting away on some hospital bed in 2002, after spending their whole lives yelling at their kids/shunning their kids who were leaving the truth, trying to be good Jehovahs' Witnesses and sacrificing everything for the big Paradise payoff.
It makes me sick to my stomach that the JWs are still getting away with it. My poor mom. She took a bunch of fucking pills to pass out cause she couldn't deal with the death. No Armegeddon yet and her friend dies. She used to say how she'd never get old and that her friend (who died) would be with her during Armageddon and that they would call each other when it started and meet up at each others houses with their kids. They would have Armageddon drills practically.
Even though the bitch is dead and good riddance to her, i feel for my mom who is almost 50, and is losing friends she'd never thought she'd lose. All I can think about is how awful her life will be in the next coming years. I don't know if she'll last. I hope to god she can keep fooling herself into believeing still. I wouldn't want her to know the truth of it. I"m afraid she'd kill herself. She's sacraficed so much: her marriage, her kids, her sanity. I"m thanful i was able to figure it out in time and get myself a real life, free from all the hocus pocus superstions of being a JW.
If i saw someone with a magazine right now i'd really lay in to them. IF i saw a Governing Body member i'd punch him right in the fucking face.

I'm not a racist. I love black people. I think they have contributed greatly to our society However, I don't particuarly care for Gansta Rap music and the kind of idiocy it breeds in young black people though. Hip Hop is one thing, Gangsta rap is another. You can make the argument that white kids listen to destructive music as well (Heavy Metal, whatever) and yes, i believe it does harm them and make them somewhat antisocial. But you don't have an entire white culture founded on and glorifying killing/selling drugs/joning gangs, and being an all around thug in general... etc.
Simply put, I don't care for the hoods. A lot of black people involved with or who listen to hardcore rap and embrace it's message sell drugs join gangs and kill and commit crimes. Because it's expected of them, if they want to fit in with the message/culture they are embracing. No amount of political correctness can erase that fact. Sorry. Maybe it's because of all the shit we've put blacks through over the years, i don't know. You need a socialogist to figure that out. But i don't need a sociologist to help me decide this:
it's 2 am in the morning. Your lost in the big city. You see a group of young black males on one corner. A group of young white males on the other. Who are YOU going to ask for directions from? I'm going to ask the white kids.

western lands have gleefully exploited the worlds resources over the past 200 years.most of us have taken advatage of what our economies have offered to us.but has and does our life style not only ruin the earth but ensures that other countries remain pour.. the goods we demand and are used to having ,have a cost to the environment .we want them cheap , this ensures low wages where big western companies can get cheap labour.the size and power of western business means that pourer countries cant grow economically.the big western business are so powerful that they earn more money than entire countries.. suvival of the fittest has taken its toll on mankind while we live in comfort the majority of earth inhabitants don't.how much is our fault?

I never said anything about America being holier than thou...but be realistic. We can and do help people, and if encouraging democracy is a bad thing, geez, i don't know what to say to you. I keep forgetting how terrible Democracy impacts a population. I mean, the American way, it's disasterous to do things the american way.
I can see what you mean by it not working for everyone. the Somalia thing was an example of that. I guess we should just let people kill and starve each other to death because we wouldn't want to establish a democracy and screw up their way of doing things, their culture.
You do have to step on toes to get things done sometimes. Sorry. That's life. This isn't the new order with Jehovah calling the shots. I think it's wrong to not give America it's due. Despite some flaws. Just ask all the refugees who risk their lives to come to this "awful" country that "bullies" other countries with food, medical aid, humanitarian supplies, etc....
I agree with Environmental issues being neglected. Something needs to change on this. But give America and the West a break. Its good there are folks who don't agree with everything the USA does, but they at least need to acknolwedge SOME MAJOR POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION the US has had on the world at large.
