  and what would you do to the building if you braught it?.

  i wonder how can that ugly building be the only communication from god to earth?.

  mine was for giving a sister that i grew up with the watchtower that dealt with birthdays being on the same level as anniversaries.

  she quit going because she could not understand the societies position on birthday's.

  the elders were mad because i knew how she would react and they thought i did this to cause problems.

  The KH and people in it make me so hateful

  so the brother who was suppose to do sound had to read the watchtower that morning so i had to do it b/c no one else who knew how to showed up.

  so there i was sitting through this boring talk that talked about entertaiment or something and i heard it all before so i started reading this watchtower that was laying on the sound system.

  then brother elder walked by and told my dad i was sleeping, and another brother elder walked by and told my dad i was sleeping.

  ha! the haircut-situation.
  
  been on the same boat. they always ran to my mother and told her about my "long" hair (i NEVER had LONG hair!!!!). then my mother would be under pressure and tell me things like "the haircut you had then and then was so nice" and stuff. they also always told the elders to tell me to get a haircut. i told the elders they should tell it to me, in my face, so i could talk with them. they said - no, why should seventy percent (i'd bet there were only very few who actually complained though) of the congregation come down to your niveau. i had enough then.
  
  one day i just couldn't stand the pressure anymore so.... i shaved my head :-) they didn't like that either... lol!

  i need some skeptic input... dreams that come true

  listen to this: the other day my wife was talking in her sleep and she said "sister xyz died".

  i just thought, well she's dreaming.

  the next day one of my friends told me "sister xyz died yesterday".

  I wouldn't worry about her saying: "sister XYZ died"
  
  However, if she says, "Googlemagoogle, I'm going to kill you", well, then that could very well be prophetic. And painful.

  Races - where do they come from?

  even when i still believed in the bible as god's word, i never understood how (at least) three races came from 2 persons.

  i sometimes thought, maybe adam was black and eve white, but where does the mongol race come from then?

  anyone play guitar?

  i just got one and i learn a few chords, but im having trouble switching between them fast and my fingers hurt a little, when can i start getting caluses and should i rest my fingers?

  if you are switching chords too slow, just play slower until you get used to it. but there's another "trick" to get you playing faster: throw in a stroke without a chord, often sounds cool and often noone notices. and saves you enough time to find the next chord. and make those fingers bleed!

  true that! wt and bible-bumper answer is: god wouldn't require something that would be against our nature, he says homosexuality is wrong, thus it can't be natural.
  
  i had a very heated debate in a german exjw bible-forum (yeah, they are still fanatics, just another color). wish some of you guys would have been there. it was me against the rest.

  after reading jt stumbler's topic on avatars, i recognised that certain avatars appeal to me, and i'm sure others feel the same.... .

  elsewhere (no idea why, gimme a clue), ezekiel3 (says a lot), euphemism (loved the marx bros) and googlemagoogle (so classical) spring to mind, oh, ip_sec's last avatar (the red pyramid) - want to revert back ip_sec?

  oh, and stillajwexelder - after reading your posting on jt stumbler's thread i realise i previously had the wrong impression - lol.

  LT - I think your "face" looks a little sinister in the current avatar and slightly reminscent of the beginning bits to the video for Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen!

  hi mc, i don't have a good sense for posts (at least in english) as i usually unwantedly provoke controversies, but i seem to pick good avatars :-)
  
  
  when i first registered i had a baphometh avatar with a pentagram... guess it was that good-bye-god phase i was in back then. interestingly that bearded scottish progressive christian uberapostate who announced his disassociation on stage (what's his name again?) liked it.
