  the images on the front page wouldn't load for me. i found some tax info filed by the H.M. Riley Trust on watchtower.observer.org but i didn't fina a list showing the the trust had in fact invested in Phillip Morris. Having that document would be a great help to me since my dad grew up farming tobacco and had to quit due to the WTS rules.

  early in the decade of the 70?s, all jw?s were notified (in the tobacco-growing district) of a special meeting at the kingdom hall.

  three representatives from wts, a district overseer and two circuit overseers delivered a symposium that brought an abrupt end for all jw?s working in the tobacco industry (whether selling cigarettes, manufacture, tobacco machinery, etc.

  singing at the meetings

  were any of you the really obnoxiosly loud singer at the meeting?

  that always used to make me laugh when somone who couldn't sing just belted it out in their horrible voice.

  or i used to love the husband and wife duos that thought they were all that as they sat and tried to harmonize.

  i would change words out in the middle of the song. like instead of "throngs" i would say "thongs" or instead of "ministry" i'd say "mystery" just to see if people would catch on. it was a fun game.

  we had a phone call yesterday, after being "inactive" for 6 years.

  not having attended a meeting in 4 years, we get a call saying they are concerned that they had heard we believe in evolution.

  my partner said "not necesarily believe in it, im just not discounting it at this time.

  Just got back from the 2004-2005 circuit assembly here are a few thoughts.

  upon arriving i ran into lots of old friends and really enjoyed seeing everyone and visiting.

  they dont know that im currently struggling with doubts about the organization and they think that im the same old zealous brother.

  i couldnt help but feel a sence of guilt visiting with them about our current number of publishers and how many we had pioneering ect.

  All of us here at Bethel in the Service Dept monitor this site on a daily basis, usually right after morning worship. We strongly encourage you to do the same, as you will be able to stay one step ahead of apostates who are continually striving to destroy your faith in Jehovah's Organization. By making it a habit to check and read the writings of these poor doomed souls on a regular basis you will indeed come to understand why Jehovah and the Faithful and Discreet Slave have deemed it necessary for them to be terminated. Yes Doe, your help is needed in spreading the word about this website so that, hopefully all faithful, dedicated workers of righteousness will eventually come here and see for themselves. You certainly understand why we cannot publish this information in Jehovah's publications so we depend on faithful servants such as yourself to spread the word.
