that's pretty funny. i've actually found myslef in the position where i need to by a SUV or truck so that I will be able to transport my dog around when he is full grown. as it is it's hard to carry him around in my M3 and he's only 6 months old.

i have toyed around with the idea of finding fellow df'd ones for about a year now.

i recently got married, and of course it has made me look at how it feels like i gave up one life for another.

the only member of my family who is a jw is my mother- and it kills me that we pretty much no longer have a relationship.

lately i have been extremely busy at work so i only have enough time for a drive by posting. i can spend about 10 or 15 mins at a time on here and then i have to bolt.

Sex Scandal in Montana

it has been brought to my attention that there may be a major scandal working in the billings montana area.

it involves more than ten elders in a motel room at the district convention this summer and 14-16 year old girls.

my information source says there is more to come with possible charges being filed, but key jw's work for social services there and are involved in the investigation.

Can disfellowshipping a person be harmful to their spirituality?

the jw org wants us to be almost perfect.

the slightest fault that we do, we are treated as if we are entirely bad, then we get df'd.. it's an "all or nothing" way of thinking that can be spiritually dangerous.. example: if a jw is caught smoking, and becomes df'd because of this, that person may feel free to do even worse sins, because they can't be more df'd than they are right now.

so disfellowshipping a person for something as small as smoking or playing lotto, can be counter productive for the sinner.. it's like puting a person in jail for a petty crime.

it was for me!!! after i was DF'd i didn't want anything to do w/ JWs even though i still believed. i went through spurts of being angry with god. things are much better now aznd i don't blame god...i blame the WTS.
