How to sue the WT over shunning policy. It CAN happen!
by Bad_Wolf inthis is a very good document from a law school exploring religious freedom vs an individuals right to religious freedom without blackmail, pressure, etc, and also explores why certain lawsuits did not win and what it would take to win them.
https://scholarship.law.upenn.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?referer=&httpsredir=1&article=3827&context=penn_law_review.
a person born in, and whose parents or family pressured to shun because they simply left the religion, who has evidence of damages, etc, would likely have a good case if they find a good lawyer.

Remember segregation for years was the law blacks and whites in the American south could not physically touch each other. So it's like what George Wallace said shunning today shunning tomorrow shunning forever.well we saw what happen to that. Now there are still places in us the are segregated by choice, but not enforced and not sanctioned by the state.

Scientific studies have shown over and over again that enforced shunning causes psychological damage to humans. Once again should the government allow tax exemption to a religion that fotces it citezens to cause physiological damage to its citezens under the guise of freedom of religion. Now think back to peoples temple the people were forced to stay agsinst there will even children. The point is forced shunning harms everyone including Jws.

It is a priledge and a right to speak to any citizen of the u.s. without having to worry about forfeiting your right to enjoy peace with your own family I know to some that is meaningless but to most people they would like to keep there families without reprisals from other citizens its important.
