  What do you do when a old Boyfriend wants to meet up for dinner........

  we are just friends and we talk maybe 3 or 4 times a year, just to catch up.

  well today, actually 5 minutes ago he said he was going to be in my area with in the next month and wants to have dinner.. i don't see a problem with it.

  i haven't seen him in years and it would be nice just to meet up for dinner and some laughs.

  Well, after reading some comments I have to say my intentions are purely the fact him and I were great friends before we even dated and that all it will ever be.

  I just called him and asked if I could bring the kids maybe even my husband he said " Sure, what the hell!"

  Show on other foot? My husband going out with an old flame alone? I don't care, really I don't. I have meet some of his crushes and a few girls from his past. They and I actually got along and I thought it was funny to meet them. I am one to think men and women can "Just be friends." However, I understand why some men would get jealous and it is nice to think of some sort of jealousy on their part just means they care.

  I don't see a problem with it. I haven't seen him in years and it would be nice just to meet up for dinner and some laughs. Plus, he knows I am married and with children now. However, something seems odd about it and his reasons to meet after all this time.

  I agreed to dinner, but I didn't promise I would go. Do you think it is wrong to meet up?

  Going "Door to Door"..........

  when i was a teen going door to door, my "territory" was always the college area.

  my choosing because i loved going back to the places i was the night before.

  think of it - the last time they seen me i was either doing a beer bong or teaching people to do a beer shot gun.

  I liked the country to, less doors, and I didnt talk to much! Well, I didnt "like it", but if I had to go, thats what I preferred. That, or standing on the street corner in chicago handing out tracts!

  Why yes, I am Satan's Child! I came from a family of Caddy Prudes, so anything and everything I was raised not to do I did. Country was ok, but I always got stuck with dorks that wanted to procreate with me or my grandparents...so that's why I like going to the college area - no one liked that territory! Chicago service time was fun. I remember once I was at a door and there was a huge drug bust and I was in the middle of it...lol The sisters were screaming in the car "Oh Jehovah save us" - I just laughed and told them to sit down and shut up.

  I had mixed reactions - they would look at me and wonder why I was up so early with old people in 70's attire.

  Or, maybe it was the fact I was half asleep and I didn't care.....lol

  When I was a teen going door to door, my "territory" was always the college area. My choosing because I loved going back to the places I was the night before. Think of it - the last time they seen me I was either doing a beer bong or teaching people to do a beer shot gun. Plus, I only wanted to save the hot guys in the area. I needed more options on who I had to marry....lol

  I had to go out in service and I hated going out in the country with the grandparents. God the long drive, the endless hours of Nana gossiping and telling me I am a heathen. I swear if we were Catholic they would splash "Holy Water" on me every Sunday.

  What was your favorite area to Preach the word of GWAD?!

  I am sorry, I didn't read anything other than the thought of Dr. Kovac giving me mouth to mouth. Yeah, and would that be a bad thing??? I think not ;-)!

  That's kind of Sad Brooke that you are close enough to someone that you would be picked for Bridesmaid..

  but you wish you could miss the wedding to get to the game..

  (and I AM A HUGE FOOTBALL FAN myself.. but it doesn't really say much for where your friends prioritize in your life)

  Sassy, First of all it is called sarcasm...ok? Please do not think i would really back out of an important day. Like I said, I am doing it. Also, it is a job as well with me doing the flowers. Plus, I was joking around about the fact I wouldn't be that upset if it is cancelled, or the groom didn't show up. I know how important of a day it is for them. Plus they already know how I feel about missing the game. They know me and they think it is funny. Alright - awkward silent moment.........
