by new light inwell, i'll be in england in a few weeks which means, of course, a trip to sample the goodies in amsterdam.

Well, i know that some foreign friends of mine went to Amsterdam without a map or any clue on where to get some stuff, and within two hours they were stoned mushrooms, high as a kite. So don't worry, you'll find a cool place within no time at all. Can't give you names cuz i don't smoke it

I've had it....
by Country_Woman inyesterday evening my dog got an epileptic attack - peeing all over the tapestry and almost glueing at the floor with the foam at his mouth (it is very hard to remove).
after the attack he wanted to "walk" pacing up the room (and backyard) for a long time.. .
this night he was whining a lot - wanting outside... (which i allowed for at least 5 times - thus having not much sleep myself).

It was so awfully sad. When we drove to the vet the thing that bothered me the most was knowing how scary he used to consider the vet with his needles and stuff. And the thought that his last moments would be accompanied by fear just paralysed me emotionally.
However, Leska got out of the car and into the vet's practise, and was just quiet, like he so badly wanted to be calm and at peace. Like my mum said, the vet examined him, cuz if there was anything that could have been done or tried, we would have. But the facts were that he was in a constant epileptic shock (sp). The vet gave him a tranquilizer and as that was taking him to sleep he got another attack. Even the vet was surprised about that. Then, he got his last injection and died.
Just what the vet had wanted for his evening, two grown women crying their eyes out. Leska was about the coollest and cutest dog i'd ever had.

Oh yes, i looked like i was having a nervous breakdown and was totally worn down. When the elders called me even at work i told my manager what was going on. He told me next time they'd bug me i could transfer the call to him and he'd deal with them. He told me i could call on him anytime i needed it. I was so thankfull i cried, almost.

by xenawarrior ini received a package today from the netherlands and i figured it was from my secret santa.
i opened it and inside was a note saying that she isn't my santa, but had seen that i liked frogs and had too many little statues around her house so she thought i might like to have them and she sent me her frogs.
inside the box were 6 beautiful little frogs to add to my collection !

I am so happy you all appreciate the packages. A few weeks ago her house looked a great deal as the pictures one gets from Santa himself ..... boxes where everywhere, lists with addresses, gifts, and my mum - happy as a kid, thinking about your faces when you get the package.
Btw, GUMBY! What ya mean you moved? You can't move! Get your ass back to your old address cuz ... well ... you know .... *hint hint* ... now how will you get it?
