Edited to add: Reading over other posts on this freaky crap, I'm so glad I didn't have the sound to go with it. I might have really gotten in trouble. And here I was looking at the little scenery of the boat and pretty water and then the ugliness. That was a bad joke..VERY NOT FUNNY...

Why Don't They Have Windows???

this may be a question that has been answered millions of times but i've seen it in alot of posts lately.. why don't the kh have windows?

what is their bible-based answer for this one?

Something to ponder.

Being in the Dirty South, we do have the occasional hate inspired church burnings. But I rarely hear about people breaking into churches. I remember a KH locally that was always getting broken into and the theives would take the sound equipment. Why didn't Jehovah protect his house. I mean this is his house of worship, they shouldn't even need alarms. Just a thought.

Believable Or NOT!!!!

i don't know about everyone else but i just want to get these stories of godly/demonic intervention out of my system.

hope it doesn't bore you but some are a good laugh now but i truly believed them and some i still believe.. 1. don't open that cabinet- one day my dear step mother was cleaning the kitchen and needed something out of a cabinet that was rarely used.

there was a plastic cake dish that makes this very audible noise when trying to close it(lil cheap cake from winn dixie).

My God and I thought my stories were weird. I guess demons just like Smurfs for some reason. I faintly remember something about a Cabbage Patch Doll doing something too along the lines of moving by itself but I don't remember exactly what happened.

And the story about the Smurf running out the KH..C'mon now. I would have loved to see that.

hey everyone.. i've been "out" for about six months now, fully enjoying life for the first time in a very long time.

part of my joy comes from the freedom i now have to explore other spiritualities.. i will say, though, that since leaving i've felt something lacking in my life.

not because i regret my decision to leave.

New Hope Baptist Church near my apt. The first time I went I was really just amazed with the choir. The next couple of times I really listened to what the preacher was saying and almost everything was speaking to me. Joined the church and I've been a member ever since. It's been about a year now.

I know of an account servant stealing some of the WWW money. BAD account server.

I guess it just depends on the area, but here in LA I've never been to a KH that had windows and I've been to quite a few.

1. Don't Open That Cabinet- One day my dear step mother was cleaning the kitchen and needed something out of a cabinet that was rarely used. There was a plastic cake dish that makes this very audible noise when trying to close it(lil cheap cake from Winn Dixie). Well in the midst of her getting a chair to stand on to get into this cabinet, with no one else in the kitchen but her, she says every time she went to reach to go into the cabinet the cake dish would move. So she investigated and made sure it was closed so that she wouldn't hear the sound again. Once again when she reached for the cabinet the cake pan moved. So in a total piss-in-your-pants moment (not her exact words but she was scared out of her mind) she was able to find some lottery tickets which were for my JW dad that he had hid in a very high place. B**tch turned my dad in to the elders. The action after that is another story. BELIEVABLE OR NOT!!!

2. Diving Bird- There was a guy in the KH nieghborhood that was known for being a drunkard. One day this drunkard ventured in the KH while the little pioneer sisters were getting their territory together for field service that day. This day there happened to be no brothers going out to preach Jehovah's word and this drunk man was in there. The little scared sisters started praying to Jehovah for help. The drunk man started playing the piano that was there and wouldn't leave. One of the smart sisters was going out the door and in flew 2 birds that attacked the man and drove him out of the KH. Boy did those lovely sisters have a story to tell to the other sisters and brothers. BELIEVABLE or NOT!!!

3. Don't Partake of those Emblems- During the memorial a apostate/Non-JW (I forgot exactly which one it was) was trying to partake of the bread, and every time he would try to lift the bread off the plate, the plate started shaking uncontrollably and he couldn't pick it up. Jehovah was stopping him from partaking. BELIEVABLE or NOT!!!

4. Speaking In Tongues- There was brother "Elder" that was doing bad elder things that he was keeping in secret. He was giving a talk one day and started speaking in tongues. He didn't realize he was speaking in tongues because he thought he was speaking normal. But everyone else in the KH that day heard him speaking in tongues. After further investigation brother "Elder" had been living a double life and the demons made him speak in tongues. BELIEVABLE or NOT!!!

5. Demonic Video Games/Pictures- Borrowed a game from my cousin. Step mother put it outside because she kept hearing weird noises and said demons were in the house because of the game. Little non-JW gave me a picture of her and step mother heard noises again so picture was put outside. BELIEVABLE or NOT!!!

6. Don't Conduct A Bible Study With People that are Demonic- While conducting a bible study with a lady that had demons in her house. People could be heard talking in the back of the house but no one was there with them. Also pages could be heard flipping when they knocked on the door but the lady was outside in the back and no one else was in the house. (They must have had supersonic ears) BELIEVABLE or NOT!!!

7. My Husband is Bonking a Cat- Little JW sister notices her cat has been walking funny. Takes cat to the vet and vet reveals that cat has been penetrated by something non-catlike and rhymes with venus. Woman is very distraught and I forget exactly how she finds out but her husband had been sexing the cat. Now why didn't Jehovah let the faithful sister know what was going on? BELIEVABLE or NOT!!!!

That's all the wildest ones I can think of right now. I know it's hard to believe but all of these were the most memorable stories I could remember being told while I was in JW-land. Do you have any interesting stories to add?
