I finally am home

i had a relapse from the meds in my treatment and got quite ill and spent a couple of days in the hospital i seem to be doing ok now and missed a dinner date with one of you in little elm.

I made contact after 15+ years

i finally made contact with an exjw sister that i knew while growing up.

let me explain.... when i was young(pre-teen to late teens), my family met at her parents house for book study.

her family was always considered one of the more "spiritual" families in the hall, if not the entire surrounding area.

i am new to the site, although i have been a lurker for quite some time.

i was very nervous to create an account.

all of the people i work for and with are jw's and we are all family.

Many active JW's fudge their field service numbers, don't sweat turning in a few hours just to keep the elders off your back. No need to actually do anything. Is it lying? Well, yeah. But you're lying to a publishing house, a glorified book club. There are worse things you could do. :-)

' leaflet makes an interesting claim that in the book 'holocaust politics' published in 2001, says : 'if more people practiced versions of what the jehovah's witnesses preach and practice, the holocaust could have been prevented and genocide would scourge the world no more.'.

do you believe that is true?

my dell inspiration 8500 is dead.

dell replaced the motherboard 3 times under 3 year warranty and it died again, now out of warranty.

now i'm shopping for a new computer.

I have a Toshiba M55-S135 I purchased just about a year ago. It has treated me very well. I've added a mini-mouse on a self-winding cord, and I'm set. Couch, Bed, or Office. I like the attached mouse... If it wasn't, I'd loose it.

Gary, your PC with LCD monitor should do you well.
