  So Brenda, it sounds like you believe in what they are saying...have you known of other prophecies they made that came true?

  Privvy? No. It's just that I was associated and been made aware for a number of years. Believe? Not too sure anymore, except that there have been so many personal occurances that have happened with me, including coming into contact and being invited to re-join The Red Path again just 2 days ago, and today reading your post, that have put me back on "alert" with great interest.

  The closest prophesy I am aware of is the birth and life of the White Buffalo Calf that would be born in the end-times. Look it up. I haven't checked on it in a while myself.

  The prophesies have been around a long long time. Not Bible-long, but long - 800-1000 years.

  The Pueblo peoples are now in their final locations awaiting the next step. The Hopi - 3rd mesa (keepers of the earth), are surrounded by and protected by the newcomers - the Navaho.

  This is going to be a hard winter... historically when we have a bad atlantic hurricane season, we have a hard winter. Locally here in Portalnd, the woolly worms predict a warm but very wet winter. However, Ski Season has already opened on Mt. Hood with 3' snow pack at Timberline (6000')

  This may not be IT, but this is the closest to saying that IT is coming in the current timeframe that I've ever heard from the medicine keepers. Sort of like 1967-8 when 1975 was going to be IT for JW's.

  If it doesnt transpire, this is a good thing for the people - all peoples! To The People if it doesnt' transpire it means that something some where (god or great spiriti or whomever) has put IT off because of some possitive reason.

  The Hopi Prophesies say that in our time the governments of the peoples will have a choice. They can either work for the good of the Earth and the Peoples, or else the Earth will revolt sending us into the end-times of this world.

  All I'm doing here is passing on what I've been taught.

  Aw frig. My post crapped out on me!

  I know of this medicine man, AND of his gr.grandfather Frank Fools Crow - nephew of the original Black Elk, and considered to be THE greatest most powerful medicine man ever to live. I have read Fools Crow's books. I have also met other relatives of his. (one of which is a young man - now adult - who lived in Seattle who began pouring warrior sweats when he was 5 years old!)

  This weekend I met some indians who came out to pick up a cut down tree next to our condo for firewood for their sweat lodge. I have been invited to their lodge AND to their talking circle that is starting up aftger the new year, with the blessings of ...SIDNEY HAS NO HORSES! Whom will be in attendance to dedicate the circle.

  These prophesies are not new. They have been around since White Buffalow Woman came to the Lakota and brought them the pipe (which is still in existance!) 800 +/- years ago.

  These prophesies also coincide with the Hopi Prophesies. I have had the privledge of meeting and tending to the man designated messenger to the UN - Thomas Banyaca.

  Armageddon doesnt scare me at all. This unnerves me because it is The Prophesies fulfillment seemingly so close now.

  I havent been around indians in a long-long time - pretty much since I left Seattle in 1997. I've been outta touch with what's happening. I not only felt that my contact and invitations this Sunday were beyond coincidence, but now I see a further reason why I have been given contact again.

  It's going to be a long, hard winter.

  BTW - did anyone see on the news the remains of the 3rd century christian church found in Magiddo?

  my mom told me about this site im embarrassed to tell yahs who she is haha,kidding shes legolas, lets see i left the "truth" aka the lie in june, although we stopped going a year ago, i just want to see if i can learn more about the lies in the cult because my old best friend works with me but she is a jw and she acts like i dont exist, i want to tell her somthing thats a real shocker and maybe shell come to her senses, any ideas??!

  Don't. It's false.

  I now consider most, if not ALL of the bible to be false history, and all references and uses of God and Jehovah to be from the sunburnt brains of a middle eastern male dominated nomadic group of people hellbent on domination and control.

  The New Testament is the writings edited by the followers of a Roman who faked his own awakening and visions after he was refused entry into judaism and found a ripe group of people willing to acquiess to his leadership.

  Jesus the Christ - Jeshua the Messia - would be appalled if he were to "come back" an see what has been done in his name with his original pacifistic teachings of love and tolerance.

  Now. Back to our regularly scheduled thread postings ON TOPIC.

  Thats nice. I shall stand partially corrected. I've only ever used the NWT. Also, the pronunciation used in "The Passion" was Jeshua. the WT used Jeshua. Another spelling is Yeshua. Jesus was also known as Jeshua ben Joseph ...son of Joseph.

  my all time favourites are (1)the old cheese and onion combination and (2)bacon with eggs and lettuce.

  sometimes the more exotic prawns and avocados.

  One of my ultimate favorites is leftover salmon (if there IS any) prepared as tuna salad. MMMmmmmm! My mom made the best.

  Avocado and mayo openfaced on toasted multi-grain bread.

  Quesadillas.

  Scrambled egg w/ mayo

  Classic egg salad on toasted white bread. or any toasted bread

  I had an awesome hot turkey sandwich with side of mashed and gravy at Shari's Restaurant recently. MMmmmm.

  Meatloaf with leftover homemade meatloat.

  mdb, Jesus was his Roman name. His Aramaic name was Jeshua, not Joshua. Joshua of the Bible supposedly fought the battle of Jericho the day the sun stood still until they achieved victory. If you are going to criticise, get your criticisms straight.

  Lucifer was the ArcAngel of light, the most beautiful of God's creations. According to some histories. And why are you bent on blasting someone for using the name as their online handle? It's none of your business what anyone chooses to call themselves.
