  Well, Mark Levin has a very large audience here in Texas and on the matter at hand is expressing what so many people are afraid to say out loud. He and other local radio talk show hosts are saying similar things. The community are afriaid b/c they fear what happened in Baltimore. In fact if you look back a few pages you will see someone posted from a member of that very community and said that same group had another party in a private home the next night. They vandalized cars, loud vulgar music, and people were banging on doors frightening the other residents. The community is very fearful of the violence they saw in both Ferguson and Baltimore. I am actually surprised that Greg Abbott , the new Governor has not made a comment. He may yet.

  Here is Mark Levin , talk show host. FM 820 Dallas Texas He is interesting to listen to and I agree, we have all been Had here in McKinney and maybe come election time they will remove the chief and mayor. They are afraid of the race baiters and fear they will end up like Baltimore.

  The officer is human and needs a leave to regroup and get it back together. His chief threw him under the bus and many locals feel that way too. If we keep getting rid of the police for a mistake, there won't be any left. Who would want a thankless job like that? Of course you can Monday morning quarterback it and talk smack all you want..

  The chief and Mayor may be in for a surprise when time comes for reelection..

  I hope they throw that mother and daughter out of the HOA .They caused a public riot with an unauthorized pool party .

  Marvin does not have an agenda but you sure do.

  The community is reacting to this by saying the Chief threw his officer under the bus. I would not be surprised at the next election the Chief finds himself replaced. The officer overreacted but what lead up to this is what the media is not showing.

  I would not be surprised if the HOA community asks that mother and daughter to move. They brought this into that community.

  Paul, the officer was out of control and that has been taken care of. Everything else is BS.

  The kids were trespassing and being aggressive , per the people who were in the actual pool. It really shows youths general disrespect for authority. I like to hear the full story. It's not racial, it is a total lack of respect for authority and rules.

  I am not defending the officers action, he clearly had lost it and yes most cops won't point a gun unless they intend to shoot. No excuse for his crazy behavior.
  There is just more to the story than is in the mainstream media. That second link was on facebook from the " I am a Texan" site and it redirected to what you are calling a right wing site. Would you feel better if it came from Huff post, a loony left wing site? The people who live at the ranch area are telling a different story than one that is getting in the media. All we are seeing is the end of it wherein the officer lost it and pointed a gun at someone. That is bad enough in itself to warrant the action taken but there was a lot that happened before the cops showed up.

  The officer resigned b/c even his Chief said he was out of control. He did it for the benefit of the city and all concerned so we will never be Baltimore. He needs some time off and some therapy and he'll probably move somewhere else. Police officers are human and yes he was wrong but no one died or even got hurt and the other officers behaved professionally .

  McKinney will not let the race baiters win- they will solve this problem and do it without the people who make a living out of stirring up trouble between races( you know who they are).

  There was a lot more that happened that was not shown on that video. Neighbors and those reporting this to 911 said the kids were running wild and cursing the police.

  I can't make a judgment just on the video b/c of all the circumstances involved. On the surface it did a appear the one officer was a bit heavy handed. That is just on the surface, however. I live not too far from this and I can't see this getting out of hand. The racial agitators will not be welcome here.
