during those raucous, fun moments at the kingdom hall when you were contemplating eternity and having the times of your lives...did you ever speculate about what life would be like?
for example, would you have to walk everywhere or would you be able to fly around like superman?

I remember reading about the book of mormon and according to that book there are coins mentioned that have never been found , there are cities mentioned that have never been found, fauna and flora mentioned that doesn't exist in northern America. In fact not one artifact from north America has ever been sighted that is in the book of mormon.

I Went To A Catholic Mass Yesterday And What A Waste of Time!
by minimus inthe priest acted as if he was the reason why people were there.
he was about 80 and totally disinterested in the affair although he married the deceased and her husband 15 years earlier.. his sermon's gist was that we need faith to accept that the reason why god has us die is so that we can go to heaven.
and that's it.. the only interesting (touching) time was when the grandkids gave testimonials about their beloved grandma.. oh, and one more thing.

Minimus I think you would like the Anglican church we as a family go to we have very few rituals. Apart from the Apostals creed and the litergy of communion and the absence of the WT book there is little ritual there. The Anglican priest doesn't mind if a person wants to be baptised by immersion or infant baptism can be also arranged. We meet in a school hall so there is no religious artifacts

Which country is better to migrate Canada or Australia?
by His Excellency ini am sure nowhere is perfect but if we want to compare these two countries from different prospectives like racism, job, income/spending, quality of life, standard of living etc.
can you please give me a rough idea by sharing your experiences.. .
by the way, i am considering applying for a masters progrmme in any of the two countries.. .

One New Zealand prime minister made the statement that immigration to Australia improves the IQ of both countries. Now how does that work? In his deluded mind the New Zealand people that are out of work immigrate to Australia to find jobs are the lower IQ of New Zealand and the lower IQ of the New Zealanders is still higher than that of the Australian population as a whole.
I'm Australian and I don't appreciate that one.

I don't question your sincerity but may I point out to you the question that decides who is christian and who isn't is the belief about Jesus Christ. Some say Jesus is a good man some say just an historical figure christians say he is the son of God. There is the biblical evidence of who Jesus is as well as the developement of the doctrine through the ecumenical councils. The doctrine of the trinity should be studied with the aid of history because christian doctrine is developed as explained by John Henry Newman in his essay 'An essay on the developement of christian doctrine'.
At church we say the Apostolic and the Nicean creed which divides christianity from non christian religions. Muslims and the witness religion believe in Jesus too but are not a christian religion because they both don't believe Jesus is the Son of God.

Frazzled, During Julia Gillards term as Prime Minister Muslims have demanded they should have Sharia law in Australia but I might remind you even Julia Gillard told them to go back where they came from to a place where sharia law is presently practiced. Australia allready has sharia law in some areas but it is kept quiet. Australia has underage marrages but it is also kept quiet. Female circumcission is also kept quiet.
Slimboyfat, So you believe our borders aren't worth much? Why is it when I travell into every country in the world I have to have a passport and a visa as well in some countries. Why is it even in poor third world countries they have staff to check documents of those arriving.
Maybe you should get a job and travell to all these countries and tell them their borders aren't worth anything and how they could save millions of whatever currency they use. It would be a great saving to every taxpayer on earth.

Our borders are important for all sorts of reasons. Australia being an Island needs protection from all sorts of diseases and pests just to keep our agricultural industry in good shape and why wouldn't we want the immigration of people to controled too. Sharia law for example would change our way of life into that of a third world hell that even the people comming here would one day realise when they woke up from their cultic idealogy.
