  yesterday he was jailed for 13 months for reporting outside a court in the uk.

  his was a non violent offence.. what no community service?

  Robinson, from Bedfordshire, pleaded guilty to a charge of contempt of court.

  Tommy was charged with disturbing the peace by police that arrested him.

  A judge told him his actions could cause the ongoing trial to be re-run, costing "hundreds and hundreds of thousands of pounds".

  I don't know much about the law but the trial had already finished, there was no jury present to influence the verdict. The rapists were going their for the verdict and tommy only used information such as names of the convicted that were already in the public domain.

  I just spent two hours at the British High Commission in Canberra Australia protesting the incarceration of Tommy Robinson. Tommy did no wrong he incited nothing and used the word allege to describe the charges in relation to the Muslim Gang. There have been thousands of English white girls groomed by these bastards.

  Just saw a video . A muslim man in England was arrested for belting a policeman over the head with a brick. The oval Imam went to the police and told the officers there if the muslim man wasn't released there would be a riot. He was released pronto.

  This problem is coming to a city or town near all of us be aware and protect your loved ones

  A.N.Z.A.C. Day 25th APRIL

  the 25th april is the day australia and new zealand remember their war dead.. on the 25th april 1915 troops from many nations including australian and new zealanders landed on the shores of turkey.

  the anzac forces at a place called gallipoli or galliboli by the turkish people.. the concept was to land move inland attack constantinople and there by force turkey out of the war (1914-1918) and bring it too a swift end.

  the whole operation was a monumental stuff up with the anzacs being landed in the wrong place up against steep cliffs.

  diane abbott has often given me moments of amusement throughout the years.. whenever i'm feeling depressed, 30 mins of watching her varied gaffes on youtube usually cheers me up.. the following is a clip from this week (feb 2008) in which she seems to wonder out loud whether mao did more good than harm.

  it's great to hear michael portillo's initial reaction ("whaaat!

  ") and then watch him and andrew neil belly-laugh at diane abbott's comments at the end of the clip.. perhaps she'd been at the blue nun xd.

  just though i'd start a thread devoted to languages, dialects/sociolects and accents, with the idea being that posters can comment on any language, or dialect or accent of any language, on this thread.. any phrases, expressions or idioms that you find interesting are also welcome.

  first, the subject of english accents came up on another thread.. the british isles have many different types of accent (although many of the dialects may be dying out), and if i start to take a closer look, i can't help but see 'patterns' .... in received pronunciation of standard english, the letter r is pronounced initially, between vowels, and after consonants, e.g.

  red, arrow, break.
