what scriptural basis is there for believing in the trinity?

i can understand some having the view that jesus/jehovah both can be worshipped, and the view that jesus should be, but where in the bible is the holy spirit worshipped?

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross.

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,

Is a name that is above every name above the name Almighty?

Is the highest place a place lower than the place occupied by the Almighty?

You're right, I can't find anything in the WTS lit. that is a formal denouncement of Russell.

One part of the Bible Students changed their name to the WTBTS about 1930.

I wouldn't say that that is when they started, that's just when they changed their name.

I still say if you show up at the KH preaching that Christ returned in 1874 you will be DFed.
