I was never a witness. Jesus had a limited time on earth, He did what he could at that time and I am thankful that He showed me the pattern to follow. By nature, I MIGHT not have cared two licks about those people, as it is, I have done what I can as I was able to. I would hate to think that compassion and love come from a deluded heart and mind, where would that leave you?
You don't know my type. I never HAD to believe in anything. I was shown, by God, that there IS something to believe in AFTER I studied with the witnesses and found their teachings to be at odds with what I sensed the Bible was trying to say.

I hope this dosen't sound rude, but....you threw this out there like it was your plight. What are you doing about it? Many people are trying to help these people and tell them about God, AND they are coming to the Lord. The unfortunate don't have the grudge that you do it seems.

"and nothing shall by any means, hurt you" Jesus is talking about the soul.
Matt 10:28 And do not fear THOSE who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
THOSE would be people that are not God's children. THOSE could be "guided" by evil spirit forces if they are in harmony with said evil forces.
Having said that, I have been physically and emotionally hurt in my life, I have been spiritually wounded, but...the spirit of Christ, in me, is strong and I KNOW that I will not be overcome by any of it. I say, if you want to bring about my death, try, I know where my life is.

i just got word from my family that my grandmother died at 5am this morning.
it was her wish to see me once more before she died, i have a flight to see her at 10am tomorrow morning.
it was the only thing i could have hoped to do for her before she died, and it couldnt happen.

I'm sorry to hear of your grandma's passing. I hope that you would find some comfort in the fact that others that are mourning are drawing strength from their faith, which does help to ease their pain....they, in turn, may be better able to help you through this.
