Just wanted to say...
by tec in... how truly great this place is.. i have not been on many forums, but i think this one is unique and strong in a very important way.
it is of course a support group for those exiting the wts, or trying to deal with remaining within it, first and foremost.
but the awesome thing about this place is how it welcomes everyone.

How do I hear/feel God?
by doinmypart inthis is a serious question.. i know people that hear/feel god (and see postings about people's experiences), but i have not experienced this.
i have never heard anything audibly (or otherwise) nor "felt" anything inwardly.. i've prayed, read, quieted my thoughts, etc...but still nothing..

Jesus is coming to judge the quick(ened by the Spirit) and the dead(those dead in their tresspasses and sins)...judgement begins at the house of God.
I don't "feel happy" knowing un-repentant people will be judged by a Holy God...jeremiah spent most of his ministry in tears too.

did you know that the bible itself OT and NT was a revelation of what is happening in the spirit realm...things and events unseen to a carnal eye...
so even if satan hadn't "showed up" in the OT (at all) but only in the NT it is still an unveiling of the hidden "things" of this world.

God created you with an everlasting spirit (genesis 2:7)
...He sent man out of the garden (His act of confining all under sin/disobedience romans 3:9). He set a point, edge, or line beyond which man cannot or may not proceed without being born of the Holy Spirit (genesis 3:24)...your everlasting spirit will reside with those everlasting spirits of satan and his angels if you aren't born of the Holy Spirit.(john 3:3)
God created animals for us to tend and enjoy...it was man's downfall that led to the need for the sacrificial offerings that were portrayed in the OT. God's judgement necessitated a life for a life and because His creation...man...is more important and valuable to Him, He chose an animal life as a propitiation for the sins of the hebrew people...to put the life of an animal on par with the life of a human is pagan...they don't have an everlasting spirit...their flesh goes down to the dust. (ecclesiastes 3:18-21)
many of the wars portrayed in the bible between the hebrew people and the nations illustrate Gods overwhelming desire for His people to be spiritually "clean"...without influence from foreign "forces"...this is also why marrying foreign wives was strongly discouraged (1 kings 11:1-3)...the false ideas of foreign "forces" were kept from (wholesale) infiltration into the worship of God so that there would be a pattern for future generation to look back on...a foundation on which to draw parallels and see where "the faith" came from and more importantly progressed from the shedding of the blood of bulls (for the flesh) to the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ for the redemption of body and spirit.(1 peter 1:2; hebrews 9:11-15)
if you can't see/hear the genuine love of God in the above biblical references there is nothing more that I can say to help you see/hear, though I continue to pray that the "forces" between you and a revelation of God's love would be broken through.

the bible says that satan made his own choices.
Jesus Christ is the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (rev. 13:7-8). satans attempt at a counterfeit since then is portrayed in the book of genesis...3:15.

there is a point though that a person can be so overtaken by wickedness that there is no definition between the person and the wicked spirit. the bible says that God would not force anyone to choose Jesus Christ and so that person has been left to his own "lusts" or given over to the spirit that leads him.

it isn't God who is trying to get you destroyed(if that's what you mean)...Jesus defeated satan for you at the cross. satan has been putting in extra effort since then to destroy you, he knows where he is going and he's trying to bring you with him. notice the first people that were led (by UNSEEN wicked spiritual forces) to reject Jesus Christ were the very ones that Jesus was sent to redeem...mark 15:13...Jesus asked His Father to forgive them because they knew not what they did...but NOW we have the full revelation in the bible and so the only option for forgiveness is to turn to Jesus Christ.

Both of these kingdoms operate in their respective "spiritual" realms.
those born of the Holy Spirit are sealed by the Holy Spirit to a new life in God's kingdom. those not born of the Holy Spirit and "sealed" by the Holy Spirit still have their life in satans kingdom and are left "open" to satans varied and subtle ways of operating in his realm.
"And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others." ephesians 2:1-3
the people themselves are left suseptible to these other spirits of the prince of the power "of the air"...ie: the anti-christ spirit which is 1) in opposition to Jesus Christ and 2) seeks to replace the real Jesus Christ with a false christ OR any leader who would draw people away from the real Jesus Christ...these anti-christs can have many names...buddha, mohammad, joel osteen, the WTBTS, the mormons, the bahai and especially those who admit their roots in witchcraft and find thier "groove" with satan. unfortunately the list goes on and on and because satan is so subtle many of these false christ "ideas" have their beginnings in the church (1 john 2:18-19). we are told broad is the way that leads off into destruction.
We love the people but detest the spirits that hold sway over them. "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." ephesians 6:12
I am ministering to Tammy in this way (drawing out the faulty/false premise of her argument) so that she can see and hear that she has been deceived by a false christ.

there are only two opposing kingdoms. the kingdom of God and the kingdom of satan...
do you really think that Jesus would celebrate the love amongst those who have chosen to not be part of Gods kingdom?
