  hmm, never tried. thought about it...but being the baby of the family, i don't want to be the one who starts a huge war. anyways, i recall reading some stories here about people helping others out of the org, i'll try to find you some. good luck!

  Good deed for the day

  today at my parent's bakery, this old lady came and bought $6.20 worth of pastries.

  however, she wanted to pay me, in pennies!

  under most circumstances i would never do this, but it was at three in the afternoon, when it it dead in the bakery and she was really nice so i agreed.

  Remembering.......

  today i had to go over to reidsville, a little town where i lived for a while when i was about 22 or so and i took a different route home from my usual way.

  along the way i remembered walking along the sidewalk with my first wife one night late, as it snowed, we had a great time that night.

  a little further on the left was a school where we had a circuit assembly about a month after my dad died when i was 18 and i was the one in charge of the roomimg department.

  ken, i really like all your posts/stories, especially the ones with pictures attatched. i love how you appreciate all your memories and your family so much, you are a great person! you should post more often, more people need to see your kindness and love . thanks for sharing bits of your life with us.

  most people are under the impression that the watchtower.

  don't break up families, well people lets give them a. few examples.

  since i left the jehovah witnesses my mother .

  all the jws in my fam (elder uncle, aunt, and 5 cousins) shun me most of the time. yet other times they are way respectful towards us and actually show some interest in our lives. i honestly don't ever know when they are being sincere, but afetr a long discussion about it with You Know, i just don't care anymore ... like Skipper says "You Go Yahweh - and I'll go Mine!"

  q 1: where does the bible say god's name is jehovah?

  in all probability, the bible that you have does not have the name jehovah in it, anywhere.

  we too have a fraternity, a brotherhood, gods family is what we are, and if anyone dishonors the congregation by conduct unbecoming a minister of god, shunning, or disfellowshipping as we call it, is gods means to deal with such ones.. q 7: how can a person isolate themselves if you chose to knock on peoples doors outside your religion?
