JoinedWalter Scott Hudson has done a lot, but accomplished little. Born into a strict religious family in 1978, Walter was standing before a congregation of over one-hundred giving bible talks at the age of eight. Likewise, he was required to participate in evangelical activities. As a result, his fear of public speaking was dramatically reduced and his writing improved. This led him to participate in school theater projects. It also contributed to him joining his high school newspaper and quickly rising to the position of editor-in-chief. Once in his senior year, Walter was selected as a performer for Skits Outreach Services, a private theater troupe that wrote and performed various shows for schools and youth organizations; the shows focused on social issues like drugs, violence, and teen pregnancy. From there, Walter accepted an internship at KDWB-FM in Minneapolis, where he learned the ins and outs of radio broadcasting from personalities Tone E. Fly and J.J. Kincaid. Nine months later, Walter got a part-time disk jockey job at KJCK-FM in Junction City, Kansas. Although thrilled to be on the air, more practical concerns required him to cut short his radio career after a miniscule three months. Currently, Walter is a site supervisor in charge of security at a plant near his home in Iowa City, where he resides with his fiancé' and his cat. An aspiring screenwriter, Walter hopes to stop playing video games, watching movies, and listening to talk radio long enough to write a screenplay.
