All-Time Jeff,
Conclusions without evidence are assertions. Your post is full of them. If you have some evidence please supply it.
a thowoff from ren's thread obviously.. i am firmly convinced that what is called christianity today - is actually just pauline theology.. if you removed all the portions of the nt that are attributed to paul, and actually accepted as primary the words of jesus and his direct followers - the worldwide movement would look far different doctrinally.
and as far as the fundy's go - they would be lost without the deep judgmentalism and rules oriented thinking of this writer [whomever he really was].. if ren's thread could go 15 pages and counting - why not this one?.
thoughts?.

I am curious how anyone would come to the conclusion that the teachings of Jesus and the writings of Paul are bifurcated?2 Peter 3:15-16

I presume that you are point out that Peter, an eyewitness to the life of Jesus, equates Paul's writings with "the Scriptures." So again, how does one come to the conclusion that Paul's writings and Jesus' teachings are bifurcated?

I was/am a fan of his music. I never cared his public persona. I don't know if he was a molester. If he was, then he will get his just deserts.
has anyone who has attended a district convention this year seen any protestors or demonstrators?.
have you ever protested or demonstrated or maybe even handed out literature at a convention or assembly?
what happened?
I have seen many protesters, particularly after the closing session on Sundays in locations like San Francisco, Reno, Amarillo, Houston, Los Angeles and Long Beach. I never saw the "screaming" in your face types. I did see people standing respectfully holding signs. The only people doing the screamin were the JWs, either at them or at their kids for looking at the protesters.
As far as leaving the Watchtower for Christianity? I can understand why people don't understand it. You can find it in !st Corinthians 1:18.
apart from it has made my day !
what now, the world cup ?.
love.
This was a great game. Lou Holtz, the former head coach of Notre Dame, once said that it doesn't matter if you are playing the best team in the world, as long as you are the best team in the stadium.
