  i know that i may be late to the party alittle bit with this, however crusing jw-media.org for j.r. brown's press release that bill has on his site, i ran across two realvideo links to j.r. brown and dr. rodney stark, professor of sociology.. i would like to know more about dr. rodney stark, professor of sociology.

  Suggestion re: Attacks on Bill Bowen

  it seems that we have many new aliases popping up right now.

  all posting attacks against bill bowen personally.. note they cannot argue the facts of abuse occuring but decide to go after one of the faces that represent the whole issue at hand, bill bowen.. it just goes to show how desperate some people become trying to protect their high control religion regardless the cost to children and adult children of past abuse.. i would like to suggest that we adopt the same advice our parent's gave us while growing up as dubs.

  just ignore the taunts, the insults.

  the title is: "jehovah's witnesses facing expulsion for abuse stance".

  the same story that appeared on cnn's website has been run in my local paper, the desert sun(palm springs, ca), along with his picture.

  it's on page a11, the first page, on the top, of the second section.

  In response to The Desert Sun printing Bill's story I am going to write a letter to the editor. I am still cogitating on the angle I am going to take, but the think I am going to emphasize the door to door thing too. The message that needs to be conveyed is that this affects "worldy" people too. They need to able to relate to it.

  I have written many letters to the editor before and all have been printed. The last one being the "focus" letter. The focus letter gets highlighted on the editorial page and appears on their website.

  Perhaps it will be another chip in the fortress.

  A question about dogs.

  i have a question about my dog.

  i keep her indoors with the exception of tolet needs (then she goes out doors).

  any way when she is out side she will play, run, and all the typical puppy things.

  Bikers and Kids

  the group i founded, sons of liberty riders, is taking a kid for a ride on a harley, in pa.. while this may not seem like a big deal to us adults, most of us dont have the same limitations he has.

  ryan has cancer, to the point that he probly wont make it past this summer, if that long.

  when we were asked, by my sister, to grant his wish, we knew it could get big.

  I signed in too. Thanks for posting it, Animal. I'm a Mom of a daughter who will be cancer-free 10 years in October. What some of those kids have to go through. I am amazed at how brave they are.

  i think i may have pissed off the gods or something.

  ;) my luck just turned further south... i just totaled my car.. i was coming around the bend where 360 north exits to the 183 east and west fork in arlington texas.

  as i came around, there was suddenly a long line of stopped cars.

  So, glad you are ok!

  I was in a car accident in Jan 2001. Went head on into a Mid 80's pick-up that decided to make a illegal left turn in front of me. There was no time for me to stop either. I hit him doing 50mph and I was driving a little Toyota with my kids in the back seat. All of us were buckled in. Just a few scratches on the kids and I ended up with a broken foot; it took most of the impact from slamming on the brakes.

  My car was totaled. Made me a believer in seatbelts, that is for certain. My daughter and I had massive bruises where the lap and shoulder belts held us in (My son was in a car seat). Those heal though. I can't even imagine the outcome had we not been wearing them.

  I get so damn furious when I see people driving down the road with their kids either on their laps or standing on the back seat .
  Yes, it's the law that people wear their seatbelts, but morons out their still think that it can't happen to them.

  EVERYONE! WEAR YOUR SEATBELTS!
