I would have loved doing things during the program, but nope my father always volunteered for the kitchen cleanup after the program. So thats what me and my sister would be doing too, with only a hadnful of other people. This was at the Norval Assembly Hall (Ontario). It took quite a while to wash all the metal meal trays, pots, ovens, utensils. Alot of times we'd finish 1 and a half to 2 hours after the close of the program.

Did you do K P at a Summer Convention??

i can't remember how many bushels of potatoes and onions i peeled over the years.
it was alot of fun when we had a group doing it and all the while missing out on all the spiritual food.

How does God communicate with us?
by JH inin the past, god spoke to humans through angels, prophets, and jesus.
today, there are no prophets, angels don't show up anymore, and jesus isn't there to speak to us.. we can talk to god through prayer, but how does god talk to us?.
so, other than the bible which is pretty outdated, how can god communicate with humans?

what effect would this event have on religions that teach that god has only created life on planet earth?

Well I have it on good word that canadian congregations in Ontario Circuit 4A and 4B are now being asked to send in a small amount of money each month directly to the Circuit Property Fund as of December 2004 to help in covering the costs of the circuit overseer residence. Its also supposed to make deficits less likely at their assemblies according to the letter that was sent out. It was something small like $0.40 a publisher, but I guess that means the contributions are really going down after all.

Electroplating is a nifty app and I think its possible. But then we haven't seen any real evidence of this technique being used back then, or even carried forward through the ages. Its tantalizing but I'm wondering if we're just projecting too much of our own knowledge and techniques onto less informed people (albeit just as ingenious as any of our brightest today)

You'll find a nice layout of the mammals that made the transition from land to water and became whales. Click on Ambulocetus or any of them and you'll find some more interesting info on each.
But I suggest you take a look at any photo of Turkana Boy. There's a transitional form if ever I saw one. If you argue that's a modern H.Sapiens from the skeleton from the neck on down, I'd couldn't make out a difference, but that mug says otherwise.
