3. Be polite or honest? I try to be both. Better at being polite though.

5. Coffee or tea? Coffee. But decaff..or it makes me extremely nervous.

not sure what year it was, but it was very cute. His name was Steven

on how dramatic ya want it to look.

sweet little animals,..so I wouldn't want to be a meat eater..but forgetting about

that for a second, a beagle dog or a ferret maybe...(if I was domesticated, I could

it is normal to cast about for something to blame, i.e., "the horse ducked his head.

Well it really WAS my horse's fault when she ducked HER head! lol (she plants her feet and puts her head down in hopes that I go flying..)

Well,

everybody makes at least a few mistakes like that in their lifetime...I've made those kinds of mistakes and it drives me nuts when I think about them....*cringe*

But nobody is thinking about it nearly as much as you if at all. They probably feel bad for ya.

My mom says to me "nobody else is worried about either how good or how dumb you look. Theyre all worried about how good or dumb THEY look."

Does the Bible scare anyone else here sometimes?

maybe i'm just messed up, but i get really freaked out sometimes.

i can't understand the bible,.....in some places it seems like it's saying all you have to do is one or two things, then it seems like it's saying you have to do different things to be saved.... so many different people and religions have so many different takes on the bible.

i don't know which to beleive, and it scares me that if i beleived the wrong thing that i could go to hell, or just go to sleep forever as the witnesses say.

That sounds like a good book,..I htink I've heard of the author before..

The man made rules thing about the Witnesses is just the worst..I know Jesus wouldn't care for it at all.

Just lost my best friend because of a man made rule..I am BAD ASSOCIATION!! They better run,..that's what she sees I guess.

She told me to have a good time this weekend and it sounded a WHOLE LOT MORE like "Have a nice life."

i feel kind of silly posting next to you guys who were in the organization for much longer, like i know what i'm talking about or something, lol, i don't.. but i think it's really sad..all of these people, mostly really good people, who spend their whole lives or at least alot of it trying to do things..field service, studying, giving talks, giving up good jobs, ect.

for this religion.

i am really sad that i can't just save 'em from it.. i haven't been to any meetings this week and i think i finally might have the guts to tell them i'm done.. wow, it must have been realllllyyyy hard for all those who have family in the org.

Well,

I was very depressed at the time I met my best friend.

Yah, my family lives near me. In the same house. I can't really communicate with them for some odd reason. My parents are great people but I guess you could say I have serious issues with them...which is weird because they are very nice and I have problems with virtually NOBODY in my whole lifetime. But there are lots and lots of problems between the three of us. The rest of my family mostly lives right around the area. I have a few other friends but most live at least 30 minutes away..some hours and my best friend lives an 8 hour train ride from me,..not that I think I will be invited back..so that doesn't matter.

I don't have a job right now,.. I try to work when I can,..due to severe depression, panic disorder, ect.

I was homeschooled,..or supposedly was from about 4th grade on and so I didn't make any more friends in school since then.

Yah, I'm lonely.

Talked to my best friend, (witness) Thursday night and it ended with, "well,..have a good time!,"in a cold tone, when I told her I was staying at a friends house to babysitt and make some money this weekend..meeting day..sunday..im sure that ticked her off..the have a good time sounded much more like "Have a good LIFE" than I had expected. Called her tonight and she didn't call me back..

I am feeling VERY empty right now and have one of those "OH MY GOD, WHAT HAVE I DONE?!" feelings.

But then I had that feeling since I told her I was done with the meetings.

It feels very weird. It's like I don't know what to do with my time from about 8pm on for a few hours when she normally calls me.

I know,..or at least I think I did what was right. But it still doesn't feel too good.

I was having a really rough time when I met my best friend on the internet, and from that day on we talked every day on the internet and on the phone, then I went to visit her and stayed with her for a few weeks the first time and went to all the meetings with her and her husband. I came home and continued to go to the meetings, then went back to visit her for and stayed 3 1/2 months this time..

Her co in Memphis happened to be moving to my area in Illinois, and she asked that she come visit us. So they did when they got here.

Started a Bible study and have been going regularly until lately when I just couldn't do it anymore.

There was too much that I did not beleive, my family was really upset about it and worried about me, and we started losing long time family friends because of me being involved with them.

It was all really enticing..the love they show you when you walk in..I had people that really loved me. So it was great for a while. And I just couldn't even think about losing my best friend. She always said she never got to have a baby but she was so glad she met me..because I was like her daughter and best friend. I would have done ANYTHING for her, and I still will,..except go to the meetings. I just hope she can understand that someday.

I understand what you mean about feeling like you'll never meet someone like her again..that's exactly how I feel. I had ALWAYS been looking for a best friend and when I met her, I felt like I had everything.

No one can make me laugh like she does, and I can't ever tell anyone things like I can her. No one can ever make me feel better like her either..I often fell asleep talking to her when I was sad because she just has this soothing, hypnotic voice.

She was just like another mom. I really hope she still will be.

I really hope you can find another best friend..nope,..nobody can be replaced. I really hope that she sees what's really going on someday and comes and tells you.

It really hurts when your best friends decides you're "bad" association, doesn't it?

I know I have never said anything to her that would lead her the wrong way or help her make a wrong decision.

But they just can't see past what they have been taught,..anyone who does not go to meetings is bad association.

As hurtful as that is, I'm not taking it personally. I know I am not bad,..not that bad anyway lol. I may be my own worst enemy but I'm not hers. lol

I really hope that your friend comes around someday...it's really tough. Especially when you love someone and want them to be happy..and you see them being controlled.

I know I wish I could save my friend and I'm sure you wish you could save yours, too.

OK, on the other hand I feel a little bit proud of myself and that I did something I should have done quite a while ago. I can get so so much more done in my life now.

I had put so much energy into going to meetings and studying that what I really needed to be focusing on wasn't being paid attention to.

I'm a little bit on the sad side but I did what needed to be done and I can move ahead and have more of a normal life now.

Very hard. I'm pretty sad and my stomach doesn't feel too well.

She didn't exactly tell me she won't talk to me anymore. She gave me a little talk about how it says all over the Bible not to be unevenly yoked with unbeleivers, and I said,"Well, you always talked to me."

She said,"Well I am right now."

And said that we could speak limitedly and only about the Bible, that we had to keep it spiritual.

I'm feeling very bad for her and guilty. She always thought of me as the daughter she did not have and she was like my second mom.
