Thank you for keeping the numbers, et al, in alignment for the rest of us. Since we are talking about numbers other than 666, can I claim a few more?
I am partial to lowest common denominators. May I claim 23, 37 and 59. Not only are they my favorites, they seem to be the I.Q.'s of most elders that I have dealt with in the past.

it's very rare for this to happen, but the prosecution in the jw paedophile.
michael porter case have appealed against the sentence on the grounds .
it is too lenient, which it clearly is.
I hope they put him in prison and throw away the key!

I love all the artwork supplied. It is kind of funny, over the years I had many nicknames that were of evil intent.
There were a group of self-righteous pioneers in one congregation, that were very cliquey. My group of friends heard that they referred to us as the "Dark Side." Therefore, I received the nickname "Darth."
This later morphed into the nickname "Satan," with other friends becoming Molech, Beelzebub, and Baal.
Even after I left and went to college, my work study group nicknamed me "Evil" as a joke, because of my rapier wit.
I was born to be wild.

whilst a jw, one thing that was evident to me was the constant gossip and backbiting.....being nice to someones face and then talking about them behind there backs.were you ever a "victim" of this sort of behaviour???

I had a few weird things happen to me.
One was when a sister came over to my house around midnight a little liquored up. She made it obvious that she wanted to come inside. I was freshly divorced, and was trying to be a good little JW at the time. It would have been easy pickings. Instead I sat on the porch and talked with her a while until she gave up and went home.
A couple of years ago a young 18 y.o. DF'ed girl came over at about 3 a.m. I know I was cool and all when I was a JW, but I used to play basketball with her dad. It would have felt too much like being a perv.
I will have to remember that opening line though "hey baby, would you like to taste my curry?"

attended another church service.
i enjoyed the modern music at the beginning of it.
the 'sermon' or message was a discussion of leviticus chapter 3. i found it interesting, but not particularly inspiring.

Good luck on finding a church to go to. I personally have no desire to attend a church. I feel that I would have to start my own to feel comfortable.

think of all the unprotected prostitutes in the world.
if their profession were legalized, they might have access to retirement plans, medical insurance, regular health exams that would protect not only the girl but the client also.
courts and society have traditionally held the body as something sacred that should not be sold, but are people not selling their bodies when they make pornos or pose for pictures or make movies or any such things?
