I was surprised by Gary Botting's comments a few posts back. He is a doctor of law in Canada. Supreme Court judges in Canada have quoted from his legal writings in their decisions. So if they consider his opinionrs worthy of being written into case law, myself, quite ignorant in most legal questions should sit up , and shut up and pay attention.

So I have gone back and looked up every reference site on the ten pages of this thread. I find it all a house of cards. I read a long "press release" (that is, delivered but not necessarily published) of S. Unthank posted on a jw.net site and was supposedly pubished{?) in a paper called the Herald, but no photo copy of the article appears. The poster, 'Mr. Monroe' (as well as others) refers us to a site where a commitee of three was set up to take submissions from the public on child protection subjects. I look at the list of submissions, some two hundred, I believe, and Mr. Unthanks name and text of his submission are no where to found. Mr Monroe uses the term "apparently"in referring to Unthanks submission. Another link refers us to cases to be "filed" on Sept 13, where only one name appears, S. Unthank, no jucge, prosecuter, no representative of the accused, not even the courtroom.

I googled Steven Unthanks name. Along with this forum, and the ones mentioned in this thread, one on Free Minds.

THE HEBREW LANGUAGE

in english we read from left to right, but in hebrew they read from right to left.. now the tetragrammaton yhwh (yahweh) we read god's name in the english from left to right,but is this correct?

should we not be reading the name from right to left?

if we did this the pronunciation would it not be in the opposite direction?

I believe that this text is a reason why the Hebrews write from right to left. The beginning of a saying should be from the side of righteousness.

If someone does a Google search, they will find no record of a Bromley Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Either the name has been changed, the congregation dissolved and incorporated with congegations or any of the above reasons given in the above posts.

So what is wanted and needed is that the details of the exact change be exposed. To do this we need to find out the names of the servants of the former Bromley congregation have been reassigned and then we will know what happened to the congration and the Night Stalker will still be linked to Jehovah's Witnesses.

As the Bible says, "There is nothing hidden that will not be exposed.

I too know Richard Rawe (pronounced Raw way)

He is the one that obtained all the transcripts for the court cases that the WT put a gag on, for Barbara Anderson.

He is not young anymore, has had a stroke I believe, that that gave him a speech impediment.

But listen carefully, what he says has meaning.

There is a poster I know on this board who is diagnosed with Lupus. I will draw her attention to your post.

I also had a sister who died with Lupus. The doctors had her on prednisone, I think that killed her.

I also knew a neighbour lady that got it, she moved away, but the last I heard she recovered from it, spontaneously, on her own.

1909 Watchtower Article on Acts 15:28,29

i was suprised to find that the 1909 watchtower had an understanding of the blood ruling that meshes more coherently with the circumstances (galatians 1,2; acts 21:20-32) surrounding that decision.

it acknowledges that these were not binding laws, but rather were made with a preservation of peace between hebrew and gentile christians.

it draws the parallel between blood and meat sacrificed to idols (1 corinthians 8).

It would be interesting to compare this article with the writings of when the WT under Knorr changed the understanding and put a prohibition on blood transfusions. I believe it was around 1950. I remember reading that there was a question from readers from a Witness woman in Chicago, (butcher shop of the world) questioning the use of blood. I don't have the know- how to search for past articles, perhaps someone could locate the articles where the change was made.
