it seems like i never give up looking for volunteers.

they can be hard to work with, dry out, or are unpredictable.

some get downright nasty and become very undesirable.

For the love of Jeezus, Randy, I would just love to be of some help to you. I was captivized (ie baptized) as a Jaydub on Jan 4, 1954 when I was 22 years old. I was decapited in 1973 by the head inquister of of a witch hunt threesome for saying and quoting a text from memory: Yeah, you are saying (referring to WT Blorg) "you sit a queen and say you will see no evil". That was a no-no for the head axe man.

So do the math, It is 2012 today. I stumbled into computer world about ten years ago. I don't yet know what a "tweet" is, I don't know how face book really works. I don't know what a "blog". is. So now I see in your post, the word vlogging". I thought you made a mistake in spelling, but just to make sure I googled it. So how in this cyberhell, am I in any shape, mentally, or physically able to be of any help.?

So for the moment the only thing I can think of to be of help, is to bump your post to the top, after four hours, back to page one, so it will "make it through the night" while the time zones go across the pacific.

Also though it still Sept 10, in the Pacific time zone where I am at, your post is registered on this board, as Sept 11, 2012. that is the eleventh anniversity after the world trade center catastrophe.

So I wish you every success in your endeavors. If I can think of any further help I can provide in the future, I will be glad to be of assistance.

A thread for those who have no support system or a place to go due to shunning.

reading the recent thread about the young lady who just ended her life got me thinking that maybe there could be a thread that is easily accessible to anyone who may need help due to homelessness from losing their families and friends to shunning.

too often i hear stories about people who have lost everything, and have no where to go, and at the same time having no type of support system.

unfortunately there are some who are so lost that they feel that there are no options besides taking their own life.. i think that a website that matches people in need to others who can help in some way would be a great idea.

I want to tell you a bit of history on JWD. About six years ago there was a poster on this board called Trojan. I find his name and posts, but cannot find the posts that relate to this story. (Posts only seem to go back four years.) I remember he posted that he was in Bethel. He wanted to escape from his situation. His wife was non- supporting. There was quite a discussion on the board that this was a scam, that this person was looking for a handout or something similar.

I was not going to take the chance that this was a not a genuine call for help, so I replied either with pm or on the thread. Every one posting on the thread, including myself, thought that this poster was in Bethel, New York. I told him I would help him, pay his fare across the country, provide him with shelter and even provide him with a job to support himself.

Suddenly, there were no more threads posted by Trojan.

About a year ago, September 6, 2011, I received the following email.:

I sincerely wanted to thank you for your kind words and practical
help.....5 years ago, but it
was worth it. I often thought about your kindness. I appreciate that
there are people like
you "out there"…………..

Also, he was not from Bethel in New York, he was at a Branch Bethel, situated in one of the central American countries.

He still posts on this board, but under a different name.

Ohio Cowboy, I too, have thought about a similar project and I appreciate your efforts as well as the other posters on this thread.

Re: James Penton, back in around the 1980 s, there is an awake magazine cover showing drawings of a string of apostates. The first in line was a drawn portrait of James Penton. I always tried to find someone that could find that magazine and put it on line here.

Also I want to mention the authors of The Orwellian World of Jehovah's Witnesses. authored by Heather and Gary Botting.

Also there was another, I can't remember his name right now. He was in Brooklyn Bethel, back in Knorr's day, He too I believe wrote a book. He and his wife, were active in Evangelical group. Grace Gough perhaps could remember his name.

Also I want to mention Richard Rawe, from Washington state.

I don't want the old timers to be forgotten.

A text in the Bible which supports celebrating birthdays is Job chap 3. Job had just lost all his sons and daughters. His wife turned against him, he was struck with a loathsome disease from head to toe. Because he suffered all these things he lamented: "Afterword Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth. " Let the day perish on which I was to be born, and the nightwhich said 'a boy is is conceived.

In other words, because of all his distresses he wishes he was never born or the date of his birth never celebrated. One can conclude then, if he was not tormented with all these trouble his date of birth would have been celebrated.

Regarding the Bowan list of pedophiles, I seem to remember when Bowan started exposing the pedophile problem many people sent him names of witnesses who were molested. So he had a list of pedophiles, but it is not the same list that the Watchtower headquarters have. Bowan's list would be incomplete or somewhat different. The WT list would have all the names of people that the committees handled. Bowan could have names on his of cases that the committees never handled, because they were never reported to them.

So I am speculating that there are two lists. Anonymous could be assuming that Bowan and the WT are in cahoots.

Also, Norris and other legal firms have been collecting their own lists.

Canadian Newspaper Willing to Cover Watchtower Child Abuse Issue

i have been in touch with a canadian reporter for a major newspaper.

she is interested in covering the candace conti story but needs to make it relevant to canadians.

so, she has asked if there is a canadian victim of child abuse who would be willing to speak with her.

I know of case from many years ago. A young newly baptized boy volunteered to work on the Watch tower farm in Canada one summer to help with the harvest. He was an outgoing, lively young lad, on a high from attending one of the big New York assemblies. One day on the farm, he was grabbed by an older JW man, pushed into a tool shed and sodomized. He was devastated. He was the son of a widow, whose husband lost his life in the war. His mother knew that something was wrong and finally got the story from him. She went to the elders and the man was put on probation. He still attended meetings, but he was segrated from the rest with a row of empty chairs. The congregation was the only one in town. The boy was assigned talks in the Ministry School, and had to face his abuser from the platform. I don't think the police were notified.

This person grew up, left the JW's, went to university, married and raised a family and has had a successful career.

I don't know whether this story would be of interest to your reporter. If she is interested, send me a pm and I will see if something could ber arranged.

When the out of court settlements for the California child abuse cases were made known some time ago, there was not much publicity in the press about those cases. Is there any way that the attention of the media can be stirred up to include references to those cases. Those cases were put under a gag order by the Watchtower.

Candace courageously refused to settle out of court.

I believe there is a need for the public to know that her case is not an isolated one time situation, but there is a series of abuse cases that have been persued over the years. Her case is the flagged pinnacle at the top of the peak.

rick simons, candace conti's attorney, will be interviewed on the six screens of the watchtower conference phone line this evening.

there's a good chance that candace will join in, but that's not set in stone.

the host of the program, rick, told me to tell everybody that he is learning how to calm down and to do better on these conference calls.

I believe that is the voice of Richard Rawe, (pronounced Raway). He is from Washington state. He is a long time ex jw. from way back to the 1980's. He used to organize annual conferences before the internet days. He is a long time sword in the flesh for the WT Society. He was the one who obtained for Barbara Anderson the gagged transcripts from the the court archive for the cases that were settled out of court on the west coast several years ago. He also was the one of the first to communicate with Steven Upthank in Australia, and brought awaresness of events there to North America. He is quite old now, he has a speech impediment due to, what I believe, a stroke he suffered several years ago.

He is not one to blow his own horn. I want, with this post, to show recognition and appreciation for all the work he has done over the years.
