Mad elder with weapons!
by villastu injust thought i'd share this with u all, a mate of mine ex-jw had to split a bitch fight up in his house between his sister and his mates girlfriend who lives next door, both ex jw's, he ended up makin this girl leave his house using the necessary force, about an hour later her dad turns up with a hammer and a large metal bar, threatening to beat him up and get them evicted from there flat, this man, only a respected elder of the local congregation.
great christian attitude.
these jw's think they know whats right for you when they can't even deal with there own domestic prob's without violence.

MORALITY: what is it really?
by Terry inwhat is morality?
how is it different from ethics?
do we just make it all up to suit our fancy?

to try to clarify my earlier point, i think most of the people on this board can appreciate the possibility that we have had limited chances in life because of our upbringing, in the the wtbts told us not to get involved in further education etc. This means to a large extent we haven't had the same chances that many of our peers have had, and even if we try to make amends now we will be behind. to take this point further our knowledge of a beggers life is limited so as to make it impossiblke to judge whether they deserve our sympathy or not.

Bloody hell thats a bit harsh, have you ever considered the possibility that your one of the lucky ones that is strong enough to cope with what life throws at him? I know beggars can be a pain but to be totally unsympathetic to another human being in trouble and at the bottom of society smacks of arrogance, have you any idea what that person's live has been like? i doubt it, just because you seem to be o.k and able to look after yourself doesn't make it ok to look down on others, ok don't give him money if u think thats best, personnally i wouldn't either but i'd give them a drink and some food if they needed it, just like i hope someone would help me if i was at my lowest ebb. To me thats the moral thing to do, help another human if you can.

I went to the assembly today, fun!
by jwbot inok, mike and i went to the circuit assembly today at the mca at the university of maine (where i go to school).
we made it through the first half and it went faster than i thought.. .
this is me and my friend jenn (another ex-jw) the night before the assembly at 10:30pm getting drunk before heading out to the bar where we got really drunk and danced and had a great time.

I can't see the pictures as this computer is S**t but i can imagine, very funny, especially the bit about thinking of asking the 'young adults' to the pub, i've been there, trying to work out there likely level of rebellion!

I can't sleep :S
by Elsewhere ini've never experienced insomnia before in my life.
lately i've been waking up around three or four in the morning and staying awake for several hours before going back to sleep shortly before my alarm goes off.. this is driving me nuts!
i normally wake up feeling refreshed, but now i'm dragging myself out of bed and going through the day feeling sleepy.

Try masterbation, not recommended by the watchtower but it really works! Feels good too but oh the guilt!
