he has said that the faithful and discreet slave are inviting those that have not attended for awhile, to come to the memorial, and then there is going to be a special talk in april-may, and then they want us to come to the convention in the summer.
which apparently will be about welcoming those who once were involved to come back.
Exactly james_woods...its just a way to keep the flock interested and thinking something special is going to happen soon....but man o man, you just get so tired of the same old stuff...the watchtower society is the most manipulative organization that I have ever seen in my life. So glad to be free of it all.

Which apparently will be about welcoming those who once were involved to come back. So the JW slant is, of course, the end is near and Jehovah is callling us all back. But I suspect, that the numbers are down, they are losing people left and right, it's their way to get us all back for other reasons than what they are saying....What do you all think??

so i think it was thursday i decided to make a huge pot of my little sisters favorite soup for her... when i went to drop it off at their house, well, they werent home, so i left it there with a note just saying hi to her and my mom, and that i miss them and love them... which is probably a shot at my dad who, well you know what i think of him.... i was quite perturbed because i did not receive a phone call or anything to acknowledge that they had received it... so i was a little worried that my father had found it and ripped up my note and thown the soup away... i know it sounds stupid, but i made the soup for my sister, and i mean, i guess it was just to show her how much she means to me... i guess i could have bought her some kind of present, but i dunno, making something seemed right at the time..... so anyways, finally today i get home from school and find a note under my door... they had both come to visit and they left me a note... well my mom wrote a quick note saying they had visited and were sorry they missed me and thanks so much for the soup and for bringing it to them and showing that i do miss them.... she wishes she had been able to see me... my sister wrote me a letter, and left it under my door as well... she wrote on the enveloppe she wanted to give it to me, but was sad she couldnt see me... she says shell call.... this wouldnt be such a big deal, but its the first contact ive had with her in three months or so... i mean, ive called and left messages, but i dont know if any of them even get to her... this little girl means the world to me... and i havent been able to see her in months.... it isnt fair.... so here i am sitting by the phone, thinking of calling in sick to work, just so i can speak to her, i dont want to miss her call... .
i feel so alone right now, and i just dont know.... im pathetic i know, but i miss her so much..... the infamous one

I am so sorry that you have to go through all this because of the situation with your daughter and family. But please remember that you are doing the right thing. i have been assisting a lady in conversing with her boyfriend who has been studying with the jws.. this past weekend, the elder that is studying with this lady's boyfriend claimed that blood transfusions are a conscience matter and that you can have them if you want.. now, is this part of the new document on blood that is coming down soon or is this guy just playing word games?.

I asked two sisters at the door about this very same thing. They said it is a conscience matter and jehovah is the judge...etc. So I said, well if I came back to the organization, I could not lie to my brothers and sisters and say that I would not accept blood, when I know in my heart I would take it if I needed it. They said well, just dont go around telling everyone your views...in other words, keep it to yourself. I asked them point blank, is the person disfellowshipped?...No they said. Then I asked, Is the person considered 'disasociated from the organization if they take blood?....The look on their faces was amazing, they were shocked, apparently they have never heard of such a thing....So bottom line, if you want to stay in, you have to lie to everyone, including people in the field service, that you will not take blood, and if you do take it, you have to say you were weak and jehovah will forgive you!...I told them no, I am not a liar, I do not lie to people and for that reason I cannot come back to the organization.

i would think that you make friends and suddenly you don't exist.
i would think a board like this is a true godsend.
Shunning feels terrible. And in turn, it feels awful to shun someone. I could never do it when I was still in. I always felt in my heart that it was'nt my place to judge and shun people. That is God's job.

the victim thought jehovah's witnesses cannot have any blood products.
probably could have lived with some allowed fractions.
I pray that some day they will see the light on this. I cannot believe for one minute that God would want us, or our children to die.

my poor wife has been quite stressed knowing what to do with her life.
she has never been intellectually interested enough to study whether the wts is the truth, just went because it seemed the best way of life and her family and friends are in it.
when i stopped going she did not know what to do wanting to keep both me and the congregation happy, and becamed fairly irregular at meetings and field service.
Its probably better for your wife and kids to stay away from all that negativity. Just start a new life, with people who truly love you for who you are...too much negativity in that organization, from what i have seen and felt. It really is not worth the stress.
