been "inactive" for 2.5 years.from that day forward my elder brother, sister and parents have treated me as an apostate, seeing how i told them i didn't believe in their bible or god.
i have been exluded from everything but since getting pregnant, my parents now want to be part of the babies life (just to "save" the child i'm sure, but thats what monitors are for).

I am not fond of the no trespassing signs because around here it takes the police like 15 minutes to get here and by that time they would be long gone, unless i gave the plate number?? I really like the idea of public humiliation for them seeing how thats the real basis of DF, and being reinstated.

in a recent phone discussion with them they pointed out how I "had gotten myself into a condition"
and I pointed out that they didn't know if I had been raped, married for the conception, now was divorced, annulled or still married. Or if I thought i was Mary. That they don't have proof that sex happened outside the "marriage bed".

I think I like the idea because they are such a pain in the A@# to so many of us that I would love to bring them in front of actual realistic authority, instead of there pretend bullsh@# where they get young girls to tell them in detail what exactly they did with that worldy boy!! so they can go home and fantasize about it with their cold drugged up drunk wives who are so sick of FU##@ing them that they eventually commit suicide (I'm not bitter)

I can deal with the $100, around here it goes in the newspaper which i would love. And you have to appear before a judge to get one, he decides if its needed or not. I can base it on harrassment, I have the notes and saved the messages, also being 8 months along would help my side (don't piss off a pregnant woman:).

Since the elders have found out about coming child, they are harrassing the hell out of me. I have successfully blown them off for months, but now are coming by my house, (I dont answer) last night at 5 this morning at 10,
leaving notes, messages about JC meetings etc. my recent response to them was that I'm inactive and the last time i checked the rules, i should be left alone since i don't hang out with witnesses or profess to be one. Of course the response was that i still am baptised and considered one of the flock, and needing to keep the cult clean. I don't care if I'm DF, I DA myself 10 years ago but went back 5 years ago because of emotional blackmail. BUT I WON'T MEET WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!!!! they said they are "trying" to prevent me from being DFd by meeting with me, BS! they just want info and control and to lable me as an apostate. Its hillarious to hear them speak to me as if we think on the same level. They can't grasp that others Don't believe.
My BF (not a witness) called the most annoying elder
today, and told him that if they continue to call me we will take legal action. THE ELDER LAUGHED, and said "right, legal action" . When My BF brought up the restraining order it sobered him up. I think it would be fun to get one, yet on the other hand a huge waste of energy wasted on a toxic cesspool. they are the most arrogant bunch of people I have ever met. what do you think?

they play on the group gene, we needed that gene if we were to be left behind in the wilderness and dependent on others for food and care back in the day. But now so many people manipulate it, we have an innate deisire to belong. Through emotional and spiritual manipulation they make sure the "sheep" are all right there.

Hi Penny,
I do have support and love around me. The first time i left i was 20 and it was all about partying. I didnt establish a lot of solid connections, now my life is totally different. I'm 30, I have a group of friends who i consider family, aunts and uncles for my child. Its really amazing to me how they justify everything they do, they can't just DO anything. my shower was last weekend, my mother made up some lame excuse about work (she owns the business could have gotten it covered) yet sent a present. My sister said she wouldnt go, yet called this week saying she has something for the baby. Its all about what the others think. I appreciate the gifts, but would really love them to be there. They havent included me in anything "family for 2.5 years as soon as i stopped going to meetings.
My life is great!! I love it!! The only guilt i have is when i drink a cup of coffee while pregnant :) (midwife says its fine). I wish they could see it but they dont. thanks for your concern penny, that made my day.

Hi, I just have to share...........1-9 by grandfather former elder. parents found out at age 14, still let him come visit and stay with us at our HOUSE. Father was an elder, they "handled" it. Which meant nothing was done, he was DFd for 4 months. Then all the kids were allowed to go play at grandpas house.
Age 25, disfellowshipped, decided to find a lawyer and contact around 5 girls that I knew had been abused by him. seeing how the time frame was too late for me and these girls were younger they could testify in court because the b#$ was still a JW, and had never been punished. All the girls that were still JWs would not come forward because they didn't want to "drag Jehovas name through the mud".
nothing got done, but I felt a lot of closure that I tried to do something about it. he died a few years later. I was reinstated for a few years and was able to tell off my aunts who had all been molested and allowed there kids to spend time with him (and be molested). Why didnt they do anything to protect the numbers of children?? They were taught to shut down there voice, through the JWs and being victims.
Its so toxic, so sad. I am in the process of leaving one more time. I have been evading them for 2.5 years, they finally caught up to me and are harrassing me daily because i'm pregnant, 8 weeks to go, with my partners child, a great man.my family has been acting like ive been DFd this whole time so it doesnt really matter if it happens. I have so much anger towards them, but I know I can't do anything to change them and I have to let it go.
