  I had an elder tell me that even if a person was DEAD , if they found out evidence against him, they could DF or DA after death. wow, look who thinks they are as powerful as God.

  Never heard of DF or DA after death, must have been a renegade elder with his own opinions. In fact, most elders understand that a person that dies has paid the ultimate penalty for sin.

  Since they have, for all practical purposes, put themselves in place of HS, the answer is Yes they think they are guided by HS since they guide themselves.

  You know, I had quite a lengthy post ready for this thread. I thought better of it and decided not to post it.
  
  For those of you that found the elders actions to be detrimental… may you find personal peace! I hope that you can find it within yourselves to devote some of your time in assisting others in whatever way you see fit.
  
  For you that were elders (or current elders), even though your efforts may not seem well spent to some on this site, you did what you thought was right … thanks for your efforts!
  
  Some of you former elders may understand this … “Welcome Home …”!

  just wondering out there, who is still active?

  makes most of the meetings, all the conventions, comments, is still active socially with the congregation,out in service, hall building etc.

  just wondering, because we know who are the elders, or recently former elders and i usually seek their posts for some interesting comments... .

  I haven't been in "service" for several years; however, I didn't report fake hours.
  
  I was still slandered and lied about. Some of those that lied about me also lied on their field service reports. Hmmmmm ... do you see a pattern?
  
  I know because I was the congregation secretary that compiled time for everyone and knew when they didn't show up for service. Twenty hours in field service, no Bible Studies, and worked the same schedule that I did .... geting a lot more hours than I did ... you figure it out.

  has anyone here got to the stage where they just dont care about the wts anymore?

  whether they exist or disband, whether its about doctrine and dogma, attitudes, flip-flops, what they think of you, scandles etc.

  would this be the end goal of recovering from the jws?

  I care absolutely NOTHING about the WBTS! The Governing Body could cease to exist in my opinion ... and good riddance!
  
  However, I care a lot about the people following the false teachings and Dogma of the Society!
  
  For the most part, they are good people. May they someday find true peace! Not the apostate teachings of the ones that are like "white-washed-graves".
