  don't know if anyone over the pond has had chance to catch this on tv yet, but i think its got to be the funniest programme on for years........ brilliantly "politically incorrect"............ a few clips here .

  Not a great idea for anybody I would have thought. Afrika Corps Desert outfit wasn't it?

  I thought they have advisors and things to stop them doing stupid things like this when they don't have the common sense themselves.

  Did You Ever Enjoy Going To Assemblies and Conventions??

  every january, they read the letter as to where you'll be "assigned" for the convention and then the our kingdom ministry will detail all the do's and don'ts to remember.

  The only thing I liked about the conventions was the drama but even they were too long sometimes. The toilet queues weren't much fun either, especially for the ladies.

  The game requires you to think for yourself, concentrate on the future of your action, reason a problem out in your own mind (without the direction of the WT), and develop self-confidence----all of which are viewed as a threat by the powers that be.

  I think you hit the nail square on with that one Mary! I didn't even think of it from that angle

  Wow, that is impressive City Fan.....I remember the whole school went chess crazy in the build up to the Kasporov vs. Short match.

  I think, from my experience at least, the UK congs. seemed to be less strict overall than their US counterparts with things like this. Maybe the closer to Bethel they are, the stricter they have to be.
