Honesty issues? Bush and his people won't admit they screwed up, instead they come up with a completely different scenerio for why we went into Iraq. Just because they say something over and over and over again doesn't make it true.

"I wanted to sell it to someone in my class, but my dad said that the demons in the book would transfer to the money so I had to throw it out." LOL-that's so retarded and funny. I never heard the one about the the kids chest. The first one I heard about was the smurf at a KH in a seat next to a little girl and when an elder got up to give a talk the smurf gave him the finger and got out of the seat and walked out of the KH. And then there was one about smurf wall paper in a baby's nursery...where demons came out when the paper was being removed. I heard another one like this but there was some other design on the wallpaper in the other story...

Wait-- cabbage patch kids were demonized!? Well, it doesn't matter my mom could never afford to buy me one anyway. I'll say it was 10,11, and 12. I never heard these stories from elders...just the everybody else at the KH. Besides Smurfs, I also heard stories about E.T. and we weren't allowed to watch He-Man because it was demonic.

Does the Bible scare anyone else here sometimes?
by missy04 inmaybe i'm just messed up, but i get really freaked out sometimes.
i can't understand the bible,.....in some places it seems like it's saying all you have to do is one or two things, then it seems like it's saying you have to do different things to be saved.... so many different people and religions have so many different takes on the bible.
i don't know which to beleive, and it scares me that if i beleived the wrong thing that i could go to hell, or just go to sleep forever as the witnesses say.

I agree with what Czar and Mutz are saying here...it's a compilation of stories put together and it's only frightning knowing that there are some people that use the bible as a "god's owner manual." --A Friend In Need- are you serious? Why would god punish bluesbrother for using the mind god gave him? That's not a very loving god, is it?
