Whats the best internet music file sharing thingy....?
by ScoobySnax inhave been using morpheus for a couple of years now, and hasn't been too bad at all, got about 400 tracks download.
since gettiing aol broadband, the diversity seems to have diminished a bit, either i'm on the wrong dsl provider or morpheus isn't as good as it used to be.
the one i was on previous (can't remember the name now) went totally pearshaped after it got served a writ for using copyrighted material.....anyway, know of any other good music file sharing sites?

What a turd
Yes, even so he was a turd! When my sister in law was a teenager she had the misfortune to wind up in his car group for service. Well in front of everyone he berated her and told her that if she was going to go out in service in his group she was going to have to go home and change her skirt, as it had a small slit in it. She wound up in tears needless to say. Jerk.

tKingdom Melodies I remember/liked.
by ScoobySnax inok bucking the trend here, but there was some kms i liked, alot of stick has been given to "gods loyal love"....well i liked that one.
nice melody.. i think song 4 "gods promise of a paradise" too.
and song number 15 "life without end at last".....remember this was in the brown book....still like that one, especially at conventions, always guaranteed to be on the sunday programme, still get teary eyed at that one.. what i want to know is what happened to "keep your eyes on the prize"....i can remember writing those words out on a sheet and hanging it in my room, surely the classic jw kingdom melody of all time...guaranteed at conventions circa 70's/80/s......still miss it, and hum it even now occasionaly.

Hello, I am Vivamus' Mum and new to the board
by Country_Woman ini am vivamus' mum, and i have heard so much about you, that i'd like to meet you all myself.
i joined the witnesses in 1998, but i have always doubted the organization, but not the faith.
i am still jehovah's witness, but i am sure that the elders will kick me out as soon as possible, should they know what my real thoughts about the organization are.

I just found this gem from the Insight book in the section about Deuteronomy:
Warnings
and Laws. Deuteronomy is filled with warnings against false worship and unfaithfulness as well as instructions on how to deal with it so that pure worship might be preserved. The exhortation to holiness was an outstanding thing in Deuteronomy. The Israelites were admonished not to intermarry with the nations round about, because this would present a threat to pure worship and loyalty to Jehovah. (De 7:3, 4) They were warned against materialism and self-righteousness. (8:11-18; 9:4-6) Strong laws were made regarding apostasy. They were to watch themselves so that they would not turn to other gods. (11:16, 17) They were warned against false prophets. Instructions were given in two places as to how to identify a false prophet and how he should be dealt with. (13:1-5; 18:20-22) Even if a member of one’s own family should become apostate, the family was not to have pity but was to share in stoning such a one to death.—13:6-11.Cities of Israel that turned apostate were to be devoted to destruction, and nothing was to be preserved for personal benefit by anyone. The city was never to be rebuilt. (De 13:12-17) Delinquents whose parents could not control them were to be stoned to death.—21:18-21.
Does this mean it's ok to stone the GB for their false prophecies?
