when you were part of the wts, did you have any problem with accepting and befriending people from all walks of life?
or did it prevent you from accepting others from different lifestyles and educational backgrounds?

Braggarts. I guess you got 'em everywhere, though. JWs who used to brag about their photographic memories, or the GB members they were able to meet with (reminds me of Roman Catholics when they "have an audience with the Pope"), or how many quick-builds they went on, or if they worked out in service with the CO, or that they were a Bethelite, or they went to Gilead.....you get the picture.
Other than that, no problemo.

i was talking to a elderly jw's lady at the donut shop the other day and i brought up the un and the wt scandal.
this woman told me that i was lying and that jw's leaders would never be apart of a "satanic" org as the un.
she said that "apostates" are spreading vivious lies about jw's and are only telling half truths.
She said ..........I want you to block that out and come to your own conclusions.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Tell her to do that with the WBTS publications.

Elders sat in stunned silence as they read the Paul Hoeffel letter from the UN which acknowledged the WBTS role as an NGO associated with the UN. After they were done, the reaction was: "Someone at Bethel must have made a mistake. We'll just have to wait on Jehovah for it to be corrected. BTW, you still believe that this is God's organization, don't you?" A "heads up" for anyone who's still a JW out there...a "no" answer to this question seals your fate. So if you're planning on being truthful (with "no" for an answer), have your bags packed.

i've seen upsurge of interest toward freemasonry, illuminati, new world order conspiracy theories being thrown back 'n forth on this and other forums.
so i think it is in place to cool down a bit and review things from rational rather than imaginary perspective.
there is no doubt in my mind that we (public) do not know everything that goes behind the screen and that there are powerful lobbyists groups around.
Even granting that the Great Seal of the United States and the symbols on our dollar bill are Masonic (which they are not)
