Maybe it should be written in the posting guidelines that posting here is equal to sinning against the holy spirit

If a JW admits that he posted here, and wants to come back as a good JW, he will be reproved but will be able to come back as a good JW, SO, this means that anybody who posted here didn't committ the unforgivable sin.
Hmmmmm I'm not sure it would be as simple as that, any dub that posts here, or even reads this site could be said to be tainted with apostasy. I think a dub the fessed up to being on this site would probably be watched and denied future privileges...

Joe speaking from personal experience I can only say that after being brought up in the org you do tend to put up barriers between yourself and worldly people. As Legolas said we're taught that worldly people although well meaning are bad association, that their habits will rub off on us and bring us down to their level (what ever that level may be)
Dee's had 19 years of having that drummed into her so she might be behaving the same way. She might however go in the completely opposite direction, I know witnesses that have embraced the world once they've left.
For me it took months to accept that I was never going back and that the only way forward was to accept worldly people on their terms and that meant no more judging them but accepting them for who they are.
You sound alright, i wish I had had someone like you around when I first came out, it might have made things a little easier knowing there were genuine people out there.
Do us and Dee a favour though, tell her if she has internet access there's a whole load of people here in her shoes and that she can pop in and chat any time she likes, even if its just to talk fluff.

I was taught that apostasy was the unforgivable sin, the sin that grieves the spirit.
However there is an example of in the OT about an apostate king that saw the error of his ways and returned to Jehovah and was forgiven so I don't know what to believe.

since i left the "truth" a couple of things have changed in the teachings back down at the kh, notably the generation thing and the whole kings of the north and kings of the south thing.. now i really really don't want to have to push that "gimme a bible study" button on watchtower.org so can someone here explain to me how they got around changing the generation thing and what does the generation refer to now and who are the kings of the north and south this week?.
