When I was at Bethel both the shipping department and bulk wrapping department knew where all the kingdom halls were to send the literature too. This was as far back as the 1960's, 70's etc.

Special Seating at the Convention

Has anyone noticed at the convention that there is special reserved seating? The convention that I attended (to keep peace in the family) had seating in the suites of the arena. All arenas, stadiums etc. have these suites or boxes for high rollers during sporting events. Some friends of mine were in this suite and I was told you have to have a ticket to get in. In fact you can not get on the elevator to this location unless you have a ticket. I was turned away from the elevator because I did not have a ticket (I was testing this out). Does anyone else on the forum know about this? It has been going on for some time. How do you get a ticket? Money? The people that I know that had tickets were not high up in the org. The shear fact that you do not have access to visit friends unless you have a ticket is outrageous!! It would be great if the news media showed this about a local convention.

you can now donate to any congregation, the worldwide work, and assemblies online.
further they have implemented recurring payments "because the hard part about donating is remembering to donate," they actually said that!

Positive Affirmations About The Watchtower Corporations
by Brokeback Watchtower inwith all this negative information in the news about watchtower corporation's cover up about child molestations and so many other topics i find it very hard to have any positive affirmations about them as a corporation based on their denial and extreme form of control towards their members to keep them subservience to keep the organization and remain profitable.
but i also realize that all this negativity has a negative effect on me.
i personally wish they would go bankrupt and be nonexistent or burst into flames and all the gb and their helpers wind up in prison.. but on second thought i feel it much better if the gb and the other higher ups would recognize their position(repent) and abdicate their authority and return sell all their assets and return the profits to the faithful that are still a live and make a confession about their dubious claims and behavior.. so to be positive, i wish the gb by some miracle would do so.

I was shocked to hear at the end of the meeting a part about registering with JW.org and putting your credit card on as part of your registering. As this would make it easier to donate to the world wide work. If any needed help in registering the elders were there to help. I about came out of my seat! I knew something like this may happen some day BUT when I heard I could not help in thinking: What a scam! Now we have tithing in this form. And the WTBTS can keep records of who gives and how much. More reasons for the Gestapo elders to pay a visit when your donations are not up to par. Has anyone on the forum heard this or know anything about this? I know what I heard!

My Dissociation letter

it was a respectful conversation from one side to the other.
in the end i handed the dissociation letter in hand and a binding to each of the elders, with an article i wrote on the subject, "are jehovah's witnesses a destructive sect?
