hullo everybody i'm new here, even though i've been lurking now for several months.. i have to say how afraid i am to post, afraid and ashamed but i feel if i dont tell my story, i honestly dont know what may happen to me or my children if they lose me, right now i feel like i've got nowhere left to turn and have my doubts about this place as well.. i know my story will shock you but i cant keep it in any longer.

during the process of the judicial committee meetings and proceedings no consideration was given to my real human circumstances nor to the spirit of survival nor human nature nor that of a mother seeking to protect her children from lack of basic fundamentals such as food, shelter and clothing.

It's ppl like you who give the real working poor in this country a bad name. You are by your own admission a beautiful young woman, living in the most affluent society on the planet. there is no excuse save an addiction or some other extreme hardship that could possibly justify what you claim to do.

I really do believe this is someone ho's playing a really bad joke.
If this woman's for real she needs help, some kind of counseling to
help get off whatever she's smoking so she can use her money to feed

i would just like to ask you a question. Why do you feel you need sympathy for being a prostitute? Hell you don't have to screw ppl for money, esepecially if you live in the United States. There are many options here to help tou to care for your children. There are numerous government programs and agencies set up to help you find sustenence and shelter for your kids. The only prostitutes that I know of nowadays are all crackheads or heroin users. They need to nmake that kind of money just to support their habit. If you prosttute yourself just to take care of your kids, then in my opinion(and I stress that this is my opinion) then you are just a lazy female who wants a handout.
I mean the way I see you bang 6 guys a day at maybe 30 bucks a piece for like 8 hrs. That' 180 dollars a day, 900 dollars a week, 3600 dollars amonth, or 43,200 dollars a yr. What are you whining about? Your kids should be well taken care of. Hell they may even be in some private school or something. Grow up be a woman.
i'm relatively new on this site...but one subject i've noticed that seems to create alot of interest is that of 1975.. our family became witnesses it 1983 so i wasn't around at the time.
forgive me if i do not understand why many were so angry with the wts at the time.. i understand the point that the society blamed individual witnesses and didn't take any responsibility themselves.
i can see how witnesses got angry over that.. but, what i do not understand is why many still research into what the society said, or didn't say, or insinuated.

I understand where you are coming from, but to back up what's largely been said so far about the rehashing of the 1975 event, ppl lives are still being affected by the changes that they experienced in that yr.
Take my roommate for example he is one of 8 brothers and sisters. He was born into a jw family. His mother and father believed much of what was said about 1975 at the time and sold some potentially very valuable property in Orlando, Florida to pioneer in the last few months before the end. When it didn't happen his dad went crazy and heis mom forced him to leave the family. As a result he grew up like dirt poor, had to move around constantly. At the age of 17 he was paying rent and had to assume responsibilty for taking care of everybody. So it's affected ppl with long lasting consequences.

this is not meant to be a blanket condemnation of all jw's.
i thought the title would grab ppl's attention as well as bring light to a fact that may explain stillin's blatantly arrogant post yesterday.. in it he implies that all former jw's must have left the org due to some wrong doing on their part.
he basically implied that everyone who posts here is immoral and the fruits of their actions has turned them into bitter opposers of the org that 'is closer to the bible than any other'.. to me his post is a prime example of the pharasaical attitude that pervades the jw organization.

Yet he feels no guilt about associating with ppl whom that same organization has used scripture to denounce as unfit to so much as say a greeting to.
How does one make such partial distinctions? How is it alright for him to break one of his religions rules, yet come down on ppl who are no longer or no longer to profess to be a part of the same religion for merely airing their grieviances. Come on, let's get real you can't sidestep that issue. I mean, how hypocritical is that.
Just like a good number of witnesses he seems to feel as though if I don't do this or that specifically I'm ok I can still be "in good standing". Yet at the same time hold others to a more exacting standard.
Just a few thoughts. Let me know what you think.

come now, i know the amount of people who "realized that wt doctrine was in serious error" and politely handed in their letter of resignation has to be very small.
the level of bitterness and hostility towards the closest-to-what's-biblical organization has to develop some other way.. what did you do?
I haven't really had time to read all the reply's to StillIn's thread.
But just a couple of questions come to mind when I read his post: Still,
How long do you think you'll be a baptized brother in good standing
when the elders in your congregation find out that you post to
apostate websites? Have you made known to others in the org. that you
post at such sites? If not then why not, in such a wonderful happy
place of freedom as your org? If so how did the ones you revealed
this to react? Again, would you reveal your activities to those in
positions of responsibility in your org?
I would greatly appreciate a response.
