sorry but both hubby and me would say "Damn!!"
We both appreciate a nice looking body, male or female.

there was a commercial on tv tonight during a football game... .
a couple with their backs to the camera were sitting on a beach facing a crystal blue sea.
soft, tropical breezes blew, seabirds called to one another, gentle waves crashed onto a pristine golden shore.
sorry but both hubby and me would say "Damn!!"
We both appreciate a nice looking body, male or female.

Ezekiel 33 11 Say to them, 'As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD , I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, O house of Israel?
Proverbs 27 11 Be wise, my son, and bring joy to my heart;
then I can answer anyone who treats me with contempt.
And your point was?
just thought that i would post the lastest km for all those that have forgotten all the c_____ that the wtbs keeps sending its people.

lets just spare a thought for the tiny tots and older kids who won't be enjoying any christmas festivities this year.
no parties, no presents, no santa, no fun, no carols no anything.
it's a damned shame that kids miss out so much.
Yes Jews dont celebrate Christmas but they do celebrate "the festivale of lights" Chanukkah around the same time and I looked it up and the Jewish religion has at least 17 holidays in one year. There are at least 5 Islamic holidays with Ramadan being the most well known and celebrated about a month before Christmas. My point being those two religions have celebrations that filled a need of celebration, cohesion and faith and all we jw kiddies had was the dry celebration (if you can call if that) of the memorial.
And being in the bOrg as a child was hard cuz I for one really wanted to do everything that everyone else was doing but I was taught that it was evil therefore I felt that I must be evil down deep to want to do what the "worldly kids" were doing i.e. getting presents, caroling, attending christmas parties, etc.
Mrs Jones (who's kids think jws lead very boring lives)

when i was a kid i loved christmas. every year i wished there was a santa who would just once leave me a present for christmas morning. one year (i think i was in fifth grade) my class had the usual christmas party (which i couldnt attend and had to sit in a room by myself til it was over) and my teacher gave everyone (except me) a padded vinyle pencil box. i felt so left out and begged and begged my teacher for one of those boxes. she wouldnt give me one cause i didnt celebrate chirstmas, but she finally relented and half-heartedly gave me one. i remember walking out to her car to get that box and i remember how she gave it to me. there was no joy in that giving, she gave it to me just to shut me up. but i got my box. i never told my parents how i got that box or they would have taken it away from me.

hello, my name's daniel and i'm new to the forum.... i was raised a witness for the first 14 years of my life and then finally got out when my dad turned atheist...i live in ottawa, ontario of canada... i'm 21 now... still kind of unaccustomed to the world at large, if you catch my drift.
my msn is [email protected] if anyone wants to chat.
nice meeting you all
I was raised in the madness but for much of my growing up years my parents were spiritually weak and when my friends started getting baptised we childern were never pressed to do so. I left in my early twenties cuz i knew i could never comform to the jw way of thinking about the world. My siblings never got baptised either and are living productive lives.
I wish i could say my upbring among the jws doesnt affect my life now but in some aspects (making friend, being afraid to reach out, being afraid to start my own business, doubting my worth and skills and even lovability) it still does.
Going to church there last few months has really helped me and have somewhat me feel better about myself and my place in this world.

in a recent thread someone said that bagpuss was a good name but didn't know what it meant.. bagpuss was a character from a childrens programme in the 1970s and is becoming popular again now.
i chose this name as like bagpuss i am soft, cuddlyand loyal, but will get the claws out when needed.. why did you choose your 'alias' and what does it tell me about you?
i'm so boring, it's my married name but i dont use it in real life. my mother-in-law found out that i didnt change my name and i swear her head almost twisted off. hubby came to my rescue and said that we didnt care to change it and it's not big deal.
