WOW Kitty, that's pretty bad thing to happen to Sharal, glad to hear everybody was ok, but sure was a lose non the less. I never got your e-mail till the next day, so I just read it now. I work tomorrow, that is Saturday. As for the shuning against you on several occasions, some people can be so rude, don't take it to personal, maybe one day it will happen to them sweetie. Take care and say hi to Sharal and her family. Luv the doggie.

YOU ARE ALL SORRY LOSERS
by JWs_suck inyou are all sorry losers you should be pounding the streets and forcing people to take your stupid watchtowers but instead you are sitting on your fat azzes complainging and crying about how you were treated!!
if you had kissed azz a little more in the kingdom halls you wouldn't be here!

I am not excuse me a sorry loser, and this is the rudest post I have ever read. Where is your compassion for others pain, your love for others, your caring about others. Obviously you don't have any of the above. Maybe you should go kiss some more butt.

How can we ever forget, what a tragic thing to happen, please just to let you know you are in my thoughts at this time. I still remember that day as if it was yesterday. I have not had opportunity to see the memorial, but I can only imagine the impact it would have on anyone. Much love to you and your family at this time.

Most Frightening Door to Door Experience
by Kenneson inin my hometown, this other witness and i were.
going from door to door one day when we reached one particular house.. the householder became so agitated by the presence of jws.
that he "sicked" his dog on us, but thank god it had a muzzle.

I remember being chased by a dog, that ment to bite, and just running and barely getting my leg in the car. Also going to a house and having a man standing on his porch with a hammer in his hand, asking us if we are JW, we answered yes and he told us to get lost in some very rude language. I was young then and very afraid, we quietly turned and walked away. Oh here's one called on a door with 2 elderly men. A sister and I stepped in and from there the one man kept saying all they needed in life was wine, women and food, they kept saying this over and over again. Thank goodness for those long coats we used to wear that covered most of our bodies, if felt really uncomfortable, and just wanted to run. Thank goodness I no longer have to go through all that again.

The love of my life and I went to highschool together, we rode on the same high school bus. We were both on at the last stop. There was no seats left for us to sit down, so we stood at the door for the remainder of a 5 min. drive to school. Later on he and his friend where looking through our high school year book, picking out a girl that they wanted to date. He picked me. We have been together now for 34 years, counting 4 years of dating. When I first saw him, I new right then and there he was the one I wanted to marry.

Kingdom Melodies
by Dawn ini was just listening to my new nicole c. mullen cd (she rocks!!
) and i had this thought...... i really enjoy christian rock music now, but i had never listened to it as a jw because i wasn't allowed.
so instead i listened to that every uplifting ac/dc, metalica, scorpions (still favorites of mine).. the society did release the "kingdom melodies" on tape though and everyone bought the complete set.....did anyone here ever really enjoy that music?

I really enjoyed the music, it was soothing, especially when depressed. I used to play the music and sing when I was pregnant. I was hoping my unborn child would enjoy it also. Then again I love alot of different music, always have. I still have the song book and music tapes. I don't play them now, because I think they would make me cry.

judged for not ostrisizing?
by blindfool inok, i'm getting a little lazy here.
i glanced at a couple of jw books on the issue, but i know you guys can answer, so i'm going straight to the experts.. what happens if a good witness refuses to ostracize a df'd member.
i know an elder might approach and question their actions, but would a judicial committee ever be formed to stop a person from associating with a df'd witness?.

HoChiMin is right some elders, not all, get a high on authority and control. And yes they do have their little spies, be watchful. I don't honestly believe that when it comes to family, no one should tell you, you have to shun them. That's the shame of the org. play by the rules, or you could get into trouble they say.
