I went to a beautiful church in Mexico. It kinda gave me the creeps though. They show the virgin mary alot. Jesus with blood all over him. I have to say for the Witnesses the kingdom halls are alot less creepy. I never got struck down by lightning though.

My Fascination With Nicely Shaped Jugs
by Englishman inthis is a part of my collection.. the all-blue jug and the "pinch pot" below were made in a local pottery in the 1920's and are known as wesuma ware.
(weston super mare).
the others are all doulton lambeth ware from the late 1800's, well before the company came to be called royal doulton.

Very nice decor Englishman. I like the drapes too. I was a bit disappointed as well and I'm a woman. I wanted to see some real jugs. The jugs you have are nice too though. I agree with Kwin, nice Rack too. It looks very clean. Are you a neat freak like me? RHCP

Starting the fade, and getting the "calls".

she's getting visits or calls 2 to 3 times a week from jw's in the hall.
what do you do when you get these visits?

Kwin: Lots of good advice!! I have been going through a similar thing. I just say that I can't come to the door, it's not a good time. They have asked through the door, when's a good time? I say It's just not a good time at all right now. I don't answer the calls. I have actually told a few friends how I feel. The actual elders haven't been able to get ahold of me. I feel really rude but it seems to be the only way that's worked for me. The time of year helps too because I'm not working in the yard as much. If you answer the buzzer maybe just say it isn't a good time to talk. Blondie's advice was good too. It's sad that you have to lie but it might be the only way. I liked the door knocker too. lol.

members won't be presenting this mag..........it's a touchy subject, not to mention the advice in the awake isn't any different than advice from dr. phil, oprah, etc... etc........... one interesting obversation- at the end of the article it doens't say to just "wait on god's kingdom".........this is how the very last paragraph goes.......... "where there's a will, there's a way.
do you have the motivation to do something about it?

Candidlynuts: You even look good as a bird/ostrich, whatever that bigbird thing is in picture. I'm sure you are an awesome looking gal. As awesome on the outside as you are on the inside. You are one funny bird. A bit of meat on a woman's body can't hurt, so they say. We as the women are stickin' with that so we can keep eatin' the food. Bring it on!!!! Chocolate, spaghetti, ice cream, lasagne, sushi, pizza. No i'll never have a problem with obesity.LOL. I'll just be joining Mary in the work outs. Sounds really hard. 5 times a week.I don't think my legs can carry me to the gym that many days.WOW I'm sweatin already!!!!

Go Mary: I'm impressed. It sounds like your working your booty off, literally. I can't believe they put an article out on this subject. WOW. I can see why JW's would have a bit of a problem sitting at those meetings so many hours a week. I guess that's why they push the field service, to even it out a bit. Now I understand! LOL. Assemblies too. That's a heck of alot of sitting on your buttocks time.

I keep finding more and more grey hairs in my beard. :S
by Elsewhere ina few years ago i started my little "collection" in a small container in my bathroom.
evertime i find a grey hair in my beard i pluck it out and put it in the container.
so far the collection has been quite "modest".. now it looks like they grey hairs in my beard are starting to gang up on me.

by Sunnygal41 ini just recently received an email from a friend who i have been trying to get to know over the internet who informed me after a stray comment/question i made that they were ending the friendship, and not to even bother emailing any type of response back to them, as it would be deleted without being read.
don't you just hate when people do that?
it's like they've morally tried and condemned you without you being able to defend yourself..........i'm furious, of course, but, hey if the person won't even listen to me, what can i do?
