I don't know if this is your personality or if you could make it work, but...just keep being the loyal and loving wife. Do whatever you can to make his life easier on him. You know the burdens an elder carries. Pamper him, encourage him to have fun in between the responsiblities. Go on picnics, have dates, go to the park and swing on swings. If he sees you being loving and sweet, then perhaps he'll realize how good he really has it with you, in spite of you being GGG. Just a thought...

I hope you find the truth as you read these articles. There are hundreds of them. As for me? I've been on this board since 2001. I've read all of SHUNNED FATHER'S posts since I've been on board. There have been countless discussions on this board about his situation over the last several years. There have been countless newsarticles written by dozens of authors. There have been news programs. I and hundreds of other people in this community have been following his story for ages. This is not a new thing that he just made up for entertainment purposes.

Please see ALL of the threads SHUNNED FATHER has posted since his coming to this board. Google him. You will find article after article about his situation from hundreds of different news sources. Have I met Lawrence Hughes? No. Have I attended the court cases? No. Does it mean because I haven't seen or heard him personally that it doesn't exist? No.
But if in your mind, that's the case, then how do you refute the existence of God? Let me use your words...Have you personally seen the facts (of God)? Do you KNOW this (God) to be true?
Your method of thinking is flawed my friend. You can't choose to use logic in some instances and not in others in order to win an arguement.

And please pardon me for my anger, but the foremost thing JWs brag about is their genuine love. I have yet to see that love in any congregation I've been in. Your comment to SHUNNED FATHER had no compassion whatsoever...of anyone on this board he deserves it...and it hit a nerve with me. Unlike JWs, I do not put myself above other humans because of their religious affiliation (or lack thereof). I try to show compassion to a story like that unless it is proven wrong. Maybe you should be taking notes my friend. YOU have the true religion do you not? Your actions don't seem to show it.

I'm quick to comment on what I see from your comments. You seem to be talking out of both sides of your mouth. You SAY you believe in the JWs...if you do...then you'd be a little nicer when SHUNNED FATHER expresses his issue. And believe or not, his issue is the TRUTH. Maybe before you're so quick to say it's unbelievable, YOU could have a little compassion towards a fellow human. Oh wait...since he's not a brother, are you allowed to do that?
