ok i think i finally have made a decision
by Cordelia insoooooo any of you thats been following my threads thanks (and poor u) i have changed my mind so many times.
i have finally decided that i must stop trying to get reinstated, basically i got dfed 9 months ago had a boyfriend i felt i loved, was married tho still to my hubby who is only just starting to divorce me, (hes waited coz he keeps saying we could try again for the sake of our daughter but he would expect me to be completly in the 'truth') i hid the bf from my family coz they were so heartbroke and i decided to please them i would get reinstated and then fade, but as time went on i realised that wasnt an option as with a family like mine it would be so hard to do, plus there was the bf still hidden poor guy, anyway we spilt up several times, i was a complete physco i kept blaming him for everything,.
anyway last month i put my letter of reinstatement in and sat there scared stiff that they would reinstate me (as that would defo mean the end of the bf) they didnt reinstate me, and i blamed the bf and we spilt for good;.

(((Cordelia))))
I made the stand many years ago with my family. They took it pretty hard. I didn't get talked to for many years, unless it was them calling to accuse me of something or another, telling me what a terrible daughter I was, how I was going to die at Armageddon, etc., etc., But I stood firm, in spite of the crap they told me on the phone. And today, I do NOT regret a THING. Was it hard? Hell yeah. One of the hardest decisions I ever made. But if I had to go back and do it all over again, I'd make the same decision. If these decisions were easy, then how will we grow from them? Today, I am still somewhat shunned, but not nearly as bad as it used to be. We have a cordial fluffy relationship...don't ask, don't tell type of thing. *shrug* It's better than nothing and yet (for now!) it's fairly peaceful.
My advice is much like the others. Disregard the boyfriend and family. WHAT DO YOU WANT??? You will never be happy trying to make everyone else happy.
Much love and best wishes,
Andi

GUNS?!

I have had guns my entire life. I don't understand the fear associated with them. They are a tool like anything else.
I have a fear of guns. But mostly because I've struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts for the majority of my adult life. My uncle killed himself with a sawed off shotgun at the age of 33 due to depression. I always knew during my depressive episodes that if a gun were anywhere in my posession, that I'd kill myself via that "tool". Now that I'm married to a gun enthusiast, it's definitely gotten me out of my comfort zone. I don't mind the guns in the house. They must be unloaded and I DO NOT WANT TO KNOW WHERE THEY ARE. I haven't struggled with depression in a long while now, but I don't want to know where the guns are if a suicidal episode hits me again. I don't want to take the chance of making it too easy on myself.

I had the opportunity to be a staff photographer at a convention earlier this week. When asked to take the portrait of the new president of the organization I jumped. He saw the shot on my digital camera and said, "I love it!". Made me feel like I was floating on cloud 9!

Is this a one time issue or a consistent problem sleeping? If it's a one time issue, having an orgasm is really the best thing IMO. If it's a consistent issue, I've found that taking Melatonin (supplement you'll find in the vitamin aisle) an hour or so before bedtime will really knock me out. If taken for three or four days, I'll find my sleep patterns have been "rebooted" and I get into a comfortable sleep pattern. Works like a charm for me.

Why Georgia,
I would say that in my humble opinion...women are not as gentle as men.
I would rather have a man because some of the women are just jerks - especially if they have had a baby...They don't mind at all being rough and aren't as sympathetic listening to issues - especially if they've never had any medical issues.
This has been my experience as well. I mean we're discussing a pretty tender part of my body and my female OBGYN (from years ago) treated my body like I was an engine and she were a mechanic. I haven't had a female since then. I've had the same OBGYN for about 7 years now and I love him. He spends about 20 - 30 minutes with me every time I see him. He'll sit and chat and for my exams a female nurse is always present. I've never had anything but respect for him.

For Parents: Suggest replacements for Bible CDs at night for our kids?
by ithinkisee inour kids are used to listening to what they call "bible tapes" at night when they go to bed.
(my book of bible stories/death, and learn from great teacher cds) we haven't had too much objection to them for now until we can move from our current town to our new location - where we can do a full-on fade.. my question: we would like to start weaning them off the bible tapes now.
anyone have any good suggestions nighttime story cds they could listen to instead of the wt kids crapola?.

I'll have to second the vote for Veggie Tales. I even like them! Yes, it's campy and corny, but there is something so funny about learning "good vs. evil" from a cucumber named Larry and a tomato named Bob. I suggest renting one from the local library and if you like it, then purchase for yourselves. There is nothing bad or questionable about Veggie Tales. Love them!

Pat Robertson tells town, "Don't expect God to help you"
by sir82 inhttp://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9995578/
i thought evangelism was supposed to make god more appealing to people?
the irony is, most jws will point accusing fingers at this representative of babylon the grape, but not realize that their own message preached every saturday morning is essentially the same: "worship god our way, or don't come crying to us when armageddon comes"

Oh guys...consider the source. Most Christians don't even take this guy seriously.
