by frozen one inat about 6:30 this morning i was startled awake by someone pounding and/or kicking on my door.
thinking wtf i pulled on my jeans and a t-shirt (i'm really glad i did this) and made my way downstairs.

by Crumpet ini have just gotten around to taking off last nights trowelling and what a relief that is!

Crumpet, try MAC 'Gently Off Eye & Lip Makeup Remover'. http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/templates/products/sp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CAT7705&PRODUCT_ID=PROD73340
I use a cotton square to take off my eye makeup just prior to washing my face. It works great without leaving any makeup behind. All the black liner and mascara comes off. -

What was the biggest thing that helped you when you were leaving?
by jambon1 infor me, the support of this site was invaluable as i had had years of couped up emotions.
always being told that if you are sporitually weak, it is your fault.
i actually swallowed it and tried to be a good jw.

JWD!
Also, knowing that everyone 'worldly' I knew and grew up with, already thought the jw's mentality was whacko.

How do you think God feels about atheists? Angry? Amused?
by AlmostAtheist inhey guys, .
have you ever considered what god thinks about atheists?
assume for a moment that he/she/it is there: what's the reaction to non-believers?

I got married yesterday!
by Gadget ini've been posting on here for four years now, and so much has changed in my life.
everything seemed to be going wrong then, but time has done wonders and things are real good now.
lots of people on the board helped and supported me through that, as well as new non-witness friends that i made.

So sick to death of the whole 'find Maddie' campaign - now includes Pope
by needproof ini am sure most of you are now aware of the missing british girl madeleine mccann, who was abducted from portugal a few weeks ago.
the media is making a massive thing about this, and i am just wondering why.
they say 70,000 kids go missing each year in the uk alone - but this case seems to be unique in that it is so widely reported.

I feel so bad for that girl. I can't believe some parents think it's okay to selfishly leave their children home or in a hotel ALONE, let alone in another country.
Imagine if so much attention was put toward all missing children. I don't know why they are making a big deal out of it here, when I never see the pictures of the children whom I get Amber Alert emails for, from my very own state at that. That's the problem. Hopefully, Portugal is smothered with this much needed attention!

I prefer very all-natural gals.
That's cool. I'm all natural except for makeup when it's on. I've gotta ask....does this mean you'd adore my dark undereye circles and blemish scars???

I love makeup and wear it everyday to work. Actually, I never leave home without something on my face, though make it look natural, like I'm not wearing any on the weekends. I do wash my face the minute I get in from work or a night out, though. I always make it a point to accentuate my eyes and add a bit of color to my lips.
