  The new Ice Age Cometh!

  do we get our tax back that we paid because of 'global warming'.. is this why they have made fuel so expensive....because they know what is coming and they want to make a killing?.

  Hi Besty!

  We were watching the BBC weather forecasts and noticed that they only gave the temps for towns and not rural areas therefore making it appear that our UK temps were about -7 rather than -11 / -18 at night even though they mentioned these rural temps.

  If you do the same with the world's temperature readings because you want to keep your job as a government lie spreader and pseudo govt tax collector you soon get the Earth's temp to be a lot higher than it really is.

  BUT! Some people WANT to believe lies. I've been there and done that in JW land and wanted to believe that good is bad, bad is good, left is right and right is left, and so I now recognise bumble bee poo when I see it.

  That being said, I seriously respect the right of those who WANT to be believe NASA (bumble bee poo spreaders if ever there were some) to believe that we are getting Hotter and Hotter and Hotter!

  There used to be a JW elder at the 'Group Study', (remember that supposedly MOST important meeting of ALL....now Cancelled!) who was constantly told off by the other elders for answering at the meetings using the older 'banned' publications.

  Anyway, as far as I know he still does this and they don't DF or publicly reprove him when he points out how the 'light has brightened' over the years simply for not wanting to draw attention to the previous silliness they used to teach.

  Slightly off topic here, but is there any news of the reinstating of the Group Study since petrol prices have stabilised. I don't like to remember that I used to have to waste years of time on that crapola and the still in dubbies get away with having a free tuesday evening. I llike to think of them all still suffering..........even though they wouldn't realise it!

  It appears that they have been 'on the make' and ready to run off with the money for a little while now.

  It's funny that we are approaching 2011, not so long till Christ becomes 100 years overdue, the 'group study' once spouted as the most important meeting is GONE, and the emphasis on money, money, money is greater than ever.

  I notice a certain disheartened attitude in my parents and their friends as they realise that Armageddon did not come, well not in the way they expected, the Society wriggles like a worm on a hook and in an embarrassing fashion, and many of them have no pension and are struggling to survive from day to day.

  I expect, at any time, to hear that the Borg has had to go into 'hiding' and take its money with it due to 'Persecution'.

  It will be interesting to watch the WT folding its operation and making a run for it while the hangers on continue in their own little way playing 'stasi' informer games on eachother with less and less people to 'inform to'!

  how strong is our faith on this issue of the blood?.

  what is it we need more than anything else, if we are told by a member of the medical profession that we will die if we do not accept a blood transfusion?

  i myself have heard those word spoken, so i know how scary a life threatening situation like that is, and of course that would frighten anyone half to death.

  Hello All,

  I don't get the opportunity to drop in here very often these days and it is good to see that the blood issue is still going 'strong' in JW land.

  In the past, when I first found out that JW land was all smoke and mirrors and I was still very annoyed about having been tricked I was genuinely angry about the blood issue and JWs dying. I used to believe they should be pressured into taking blood.

  But time makes you realise that the JWs who remain JWs do so because they choose to and like to feel special in a quirky kind of way and they choose to believe they are better, different, unique, the ONLY ones with da troof etc.

  Time makes things appear as they are and distance gives clarity.

  Let them not take blood. I didn't when I was near death and survived well and with no consequences of having taken blood.

  Enough with the pressuring and forcing and court orders. Just respect their views whether imposed on them or not and live and let live (or not) as the case may be.

  We are as bad as the JW leaders if we try to force medical decisions on their own members.

  Stop with the control freaking.

  Just allow!

  All will be revealed in the end of the matter and just not caring what they do may be enough to make them think!

  i remember hearing of his arrest in november and yesterday a trial date was set for next march.. .

  Thanks, Black Sheep and Wobble.

  I remembered the case coming up last NOvember and have wondered what happened until yesterday when I heard about the trial date.

  So, he IS definitely a dub.

  I wonder how this is going to affect wavering dubbies to realise and understand that they are not special or different to everyone else, something that has not sunk in with the majority still.

  A concerning case but it will be interesting to see what outcome this has and what effect on dubs going door to door, bearing in mind that the public will be incensed over this case, and Grant may try to use his dubbiness to claim 'specialness'.

  It was only last year that Cherie Booth let a man off prison because he claimed to be religious.
