The book that will bring Ethics to the GB.
by Bleep inthe governing body may be too old to teach sex education.
but they are wise in other matters.. i have made a new topic since i slaughtered the book in the last topic of raymond franz.
do not forget that he made a mistake in being a 100% governing body thinker.. no organization at its early stages can live up to jehovah's expectations and no one is perfect.. please list some good ideas, ethics that the governing body has done here.

Very intelligent stuff here, I might have to think about this one.
Ok think about this. First off, how do you know how much education I have been able to accomplish? I might have a masters degree in something. I never said I was an English teacher. I did say I am a reliable source of info about Jehovah's Witnesses and how to be a good one. The EXJW's here failed at being one.
Good going Gopher! -

There are many CEO's out there that love to spend all the companies money. Does anybody here think that the Watchtower Society does the same? Maybe the Watchtower Society has alot of money becouse they would rather store up treasures in heaven? Just a thought.

Understanding the Lord's Prayer.
by Bleep infrom the april 1,2002 watchtower.
page 5 and 6.. to see the difference between having an accurate knowledge of the bible and having a passing acquaintance with what it says, let us consider what is commonly called the our father, or the lord's prayer, recorded at mathew 6:9-13.. millions regularly recite jesus' model prayer in church.
but how many have been taught its meaning, especially the first part of the prayer dealing with god's name and kingdom?

LittleToe, are you asking me?
Try to think about what God's name means. Then come back and ask. The Hebrew word and other languages knew what the name meant.

JAH REASONS WITH DICTATORS OF SODOM
by You Know inpeter once wrote concerning paul's writings, saying: "in them, however, are some things hard to understand" that being the case, it is understandable why jehovah opened his long-running dialogue with israel, through isaiah, by saying: "my own people have not behaved understandingly.
" further, in that 1st chapter, at verse 10, jehovah addresses the leaders of his people saying: "hear the word of jehovah, you dictators of sodom.
give ear to the law of our god, you people of gomorrah.

3 in 1 don't fit.
Just trying to picture God at the torture stake kind of makes me mad.
And someone would have to resurrect God.
And then just seeing God as a baby would make most people laugh.

A QUESTION FOR JW'S
by Dia inapparently, 'causing divisions' is a disfellowshipping offense for jehovah's witnesses.. now, i have a question for you: .
when someone in the congregation is 'causing divisions' by pointing out the injurious criminal behavior of someone else in the congregation, who is responsible for 'causing divisions'?.
who is 'causing divisions'?.

Even in court there must be at least one witness to the fact. And like any crime, the Witness that was abused should try to go to the authorities as soon as possible, even if they have to walk to a neighbor and ask for help.

JanH asked, "Has the Watchtower Society at any time made an accurate prediction of the future?"
Nobody can make a prediction but Jehovah. They no longer try to predict the future. Jehovah has his own timeframe. He gave us Math 24:14. "And this good news of the kingdom will be preached throughout all the inhabited earth to all, and then the end will come."
JanH asked, "Has the Bible at any time made an accurate prediction of the future?"
Anyone that reads the Bible and understands it would say yes.
There was the flood, which the Ark was found.
And many other prophecies and proof for example:
This century has produced more people than ever before who are.
Lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, lovers of themselves, unthankful, without love of goodness, not open to any agreement. (2 Timothy 3:1-5)The abandonment of high ethical standards in this century has caused priorities to change.
The Times Atlas of the 20th Century explains: "In 1900 nations and individuals still measured their worth in non-monetary terms. . . . By the end of the century nations measured their success in almost entirely economic terms. . . .
I hope I did something to help further along your study.

Good point there Crazy151drinker. The wording is just wrong. They still don't give them any credit. Both are equally wrong if they want to come up with the future or past. Does Science have the Big Bang Theory? They made a prediction of the past.
This forum would be like talking to yourself if I wasn't here.
