  i just saw on a video that there has been a change about further education.

  here is a screenshot of a letter that went to all elders.

  i am an elder but i don’t remember this one, perhaps it is only for some areas?.

  this video makes valid points and the last pictures in the video says it all imo...i knew witnesses who wore the logo in their jewelry.

  the sign represents the organization, so the organization is what is really being worshipped instead of god almighty.

  Elders get Paid??

  i just did a google search to see if i could find out if my old kingdom hall was still there, in the town i grew up in.

  google has generated questions.

  the first question asked how much jehovah's witness elders get paid.

  how many can you think of.... they speak for god.. it would seem presumptuous to say they speak for god,.

  they are neither inspired nor infallible.. they are god's only channel for issuing truth here on earth.

  they won't be apologising for any errors/falsehoods they have promoted in the past that fail.. congregation members must be quick and apologise for their errors to avoid harsh discipline/disfellowshipping.. when they change a major belief/doctrine you must not complain or criticise them.

  John 13:35 Mistranslated?

  i am not a bible translator not do i speak ancient greek or hebrew.. john 13: 35 nwt : 'by this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves '.. (curiously, this verse is not listed in the nwt index under the word 'disciples'.).

  the biblehub interlinear reads : ' by this will know all that to me disciples you are if love you have among yourselves '.. could it actually mean, contrary to all bible translations, that it is jesus himself, and not people in general, who identifies his disciples because they show love among each other?.

  richard dawkins revealed that he celebrates christmas on radio four's today programme.. here is is quoted as saying: .

  'i am perfectly happy on christmas day to say merry christmas to everybody,' dawkins said.

  Actually, many of the atheists I know have a Winter Solstice observance on December 21st, rewrite the songs to reflect atheist beliefs, trees were already part of this celebration long before Xmas, giving gifts and feasting.

  hoser, it was in a Questions from Readers part of the WT which few jws read. The WTS did not make an announcement, some jws knew other jws that had to get vaccinations to get a passport in the US, like Bethel speakers going out of the country and missionaries. But some did notice and wrote in. Others just were scared so much by the WTS in the past, they were playing it safe.
