joey jojo, I see plenty of people on here that are ex-jws, but still maintain a Christian belief system and find a group that matches the things they feel are important. So I don't judge other people's choices.

SPIMI Friend Asked Me For The Name Of My (FORMER) Congregation
by HiddlesWife ina present-spimi friend texted me to ask me the name of my congregation--which is my former and last one that i left right after becoming completely/presently pomo.
she was a longtime buddy, who was pimq-pimo-ppimi-on-occasion for many decades.
then shortly before the pandemic, she was dating a brother who was reaching out to become an ms [mind you, this guy was a mic-handler for several decades as well--until an older brother (who was a close friend of his uncle--who converted him into the cultporation years ago--encouraged him to the point of harrassing him to move up the wt corporate ladder🙄😤].

Not many jws or ex-jws know this point. The WTS once said only the anointed are Jehovah's witnesses, saying that Isaiah 43:10-12 was said to the Jews as being "witnesses of Jehovah" so the witnesses of Jehovah in this time have to be "spiritual Israelites" = anointed. So as you point out for some time in the 50's and 60's, it was as you pointed out. "The “Jonadabs” were not even considered to be “Jehovah’s witnesses” originally. (See The Watchtower, August 15, 1934, page 249" "Proclaimers Book chap. 10, p. 141-2) "Jehovah’s servants began to realize that it was spiritual Israel, “the Israel of God,” composed of spirit-anointed Christians, who, in fulfillment of God’s purpose, were enjoying peace with God through Jesus Christ."

Unbaptised publishers
by Mikejw inif a child grows up in a congregation to jw parents, they can go in the ministry even if they get to teenagers and they still haven’t become an unbaptised publisher they can still go on the ministry.
if someone comes into the truth at an older age, they’re not allowed to go on the ministry until they are an unbaptised publisher only then can they put their first report in.
what if the child grows into his late teens and he still hasn’t become an unbaptised publisher?

What if he just continues coming to meetings going on the ministry but never becomes an unbaptised publisher? Is he allowed to go on the ministry on his own?" I do believe an unbaptized publisher is a person who has been studying for some time, has stopped doing things that could lead to being "removed" if baptized, and in the past turned in time on his first time slip. That is no longer done, but they still have to say they did put some time in that month. At one time the WTS described it as being engaged but not yet married. The expectation is not for long engagements, but to marry within a "reasonable" time (not 5 to ten years). Actually, the WTS does not tell someone they can't preach, even as a restriction when taken off reproof (reinstated jw or one reproved privately). They can say you can't be in the ministry school, but can't take away the preaching aspect. (shows what the WTS values more). Will there pressure, yes, but not in writing, just "encouragement" often. Will emphasize you can't be used in the congregation for mikes, sound, attendants, etc., (Ministerial servant duties) and definitely not an elder.
