John Redwood:
Thank you very much! That helps to clear up a lot of confusion.

there was a letter read sunday at our meeting that mentioned some parts of us are starting to open back up.
however, regardless of things opening up that no kingdom halls should be used for any meetings of any kind.
also, no door-to-door ministry or any form of in-person ministry is allowed.

smiddy3:
I know how you feel smiddy and that is why we didn't want to post it until we could get it verified. But there are several on this board who say it is accurate.
I posted it to see if it was what folks heard or were witnesses to at a meeting. And they say "yes" it is accurate.
I guess the reader will have to judge for themselves.

We thank all of you for your valuable information. It would seem that there are several eye-witnesses to the letter being read, or others who can confirm the information.
It was also mentioned that the information is on the Tower website, even thought I was unable to find it, I will keep looking.
We just want to make sure and so does Avoidjw.
I will post a link to the letter below and see if it can be confirmed by eye-witnesses as true.

Ok, very good! Do you have a link? This will help greatly.

It is possible that the letter and information is real, that is why we want to verify. As the old saying goes....Better to be safe than sorry! It would seem reasonable that if it is a "special letter", then more than one or two congregations would have heard the announcement.

under the radar makes some good points because Avoidjw has the same letter as we do, and he would not release it either.
There was a poster on Reddit who was faking Watchtower letters some time back just for humor, and many people could tell right off the bat that the letters were bogus.
It doesn't take a rocket-scientist to see the differences.

Atlantis received a letter with that information, but he will not allow it to be posted until it has been verified. Folks over at Avoidjw and Atlantis are trying to see if the letter is real.
Why?
There is no letter-head to the letter. There is no Watchtower code at the bottom of the letter, such as (S-147-E) etc.
There is no signature at the bottom of the letter, such as (Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses), or anything like that which you would normally see.
I have it but I can not release it until we know the information is authentic.
We can not take it for granted that every letter being thrown out there is real.
